Underground Lake

To the west of the village lays a lake, which is Chika's only source of water. The fish that swim in the water are good to eat, and there are even some fish that cannot be found anywhere else but here. Among the villagers, there is a rumor about a lake demon that lives in the depths of the deep water. They say the usually calm lake would ripple, or even have miniature whirlpools without a reasonable explanation. This usually happens during a lunar eclipse. Although it is good for fishing, no one dares to come here at night.

A lone dark-haired stoic teen sat near the underground lake reading a book. (Her eyes have adjusted to the dark already or should anyway since it is in the underground). Her name? Cero Mazaki, a former memeber of the noble clan. Why is she the 'former,' read her Profile then please ^^ So she's reading and thus her character is introduced. ((TAlk to her!))

A lavender-haired girl of the Taka clan was standing atop the calm underground lake. This was where she liked to train. She could see and feel the ripples across the water as she moved her feet without disturbing the water as much as possible. The atmosphere was calming and sharpened her senses. Her footwork was slow and deliberate, but her attackss were a different story. Sumi would look for an opening while moving; when she found one the girl would prong her fingers into a claw-like gesture and strike with great speed.

The Chikagure genin had been training by herself for hours. Satisfied with her improvements, Sumi walked back to edges of the lake to rest. Unexpectedly, she found a person nearby. A beautiful kimono-clad girl was sitting by herself reading a book. Interested, the Taka clan girl walked slowly over to the other's side.

"So what are you reading if you don't mind me asking?"

Mazaki continued to read as a Genin trained in the water. Soon the Genin came over and decided to talk to her. Mazaki slowly rose her head up to face the Genin, looking calm and relaxed.

"Ah, hello there. I am just reading about the human anatomy, along with chakra points, pressure points, etc. I apologize for interrupting your training," She answered politely.
