Bloodline: The Shouyou Reikon, or the Wandering Soul, is the Keki Genkai of the all but extinct Hokousha clan. It is well known that, and accepted, there are more than one plane of existence. One such plane is known as the Astral Realm, or the realm of the Gods.
This is the realm in which all the Spirits, or Kami, of nature reside. To a master of the Hokousha blood the veil between this world and ours is non existent.. The bonds that bind there souls to there flesh are loosened and allow them free travel between the two realms. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities, as well as threats, to the creative mind. The soul of the skilled family member allows them to travel freely into the astral realm and back as they see fit. This can be very draining at times, for not all dwellers in this plane are friendly. It is common place for members of the clan to loose there body to demons and to become possessed. It is also possible, if a being is powerful enough, to use the clan member as a gateway into our world. The more the individual travels between realms, the more susceptible they become to such intrusions. This is because the more one “walks” between realms the more at home there soul feels there and the less defensive they become. Many of the past Hokousha members have been revered as prophets and oracles because of there willingness to become vessels for otherworldly beings.
