| The Seiyokiya clan of Kadan is a very closely knit family who's roots stretch back as far as the village itself.
Soon after they can walk all the children of the clan undergo vigerous tests to determine their chakra control potential as well as chakra endurance. Those few who pass the rigorous testing are then taken under the wing of a senior family member and taught the ways of the Kugutsu no jutsu and other puppet techniques.
The family is headed by the oldest member of the first family, usually a male. The clan head governs as he sees fit and is responsible for overseeing the training of all young family members.
The Seiyokiya clan are well known throughout the village for there defensive jutsu, for even those who do not become puppet masters are rigorously taught all manner of defensive ninjutsu and taijutsu. This is why the clan was, recently, made head of the Internal Defense Department. Charged with the protection of the village from threats both inside and out.
The clan has an estate outside of the walls of the village, but close enough to where its members can be called upon at a moments notice.
