| Perhaps the most beautiful spot in Hyouga is the Ice Gardens. Everything in this park, such as the flowers and trees, are sculpted from ice. Some artists would also put some dye in the water before they freeze it, to give their masterpieces some color. Standing amongst the frozen garden are ice sculptures of the past Koorikages.

| Mya Karuto wandered through the Ice Gardens, her eyes wide with wonder. She and her father had lived in Hyouga for nearly five years now and this place still amazed her no matter how many times she visited it. As she wandered she came to stand infront of a statue of a very large tiger, completly carved from the ice. The young woman smiled, it was nice, but it made her think about how much she missed seeing the real thing. Sure, father had two tigers in his show but it was not the same as seeing the magnificent creatures in the wild. She nodded in approval of this work of art and moved on to the next.
She evetually came to her favorite sculpture of all. This was a depiction of a giant heart. The amazing thing about it, and the thing that made it her favorite, was the fact that somehow the artist had found a way to carve an image inside of the heart without cracking its outer surface. Inside was a depiction of two young children in their fathers arms, hugging them for all they were worth. A tear of happiness rolled down her cheek, she brushed it away before it could freeze. Suddenly she felt a deep grumbling in her stomach and she remembered that she had yet to eat today. With one last look at the lovely piece of art she left the gardens in search of some food.
