Entrance Gates

The village is surrounded by a very tall, wooden fence that is covered by vines. The only spot that is cleared would be the main entrance, which is just two giant doors. Two to four shinobi usually gaurd the gates, while some lurk around the outskirts of the village.

The young monk was walking at a brisk pace towards the gates of the village, eager to complete this mission and return. He had only just arrived and had hoped to stay for some time and relax, however his duty to the village and his friend were more important that his own needs.
He turned his head to make sure the boy assigned to him was in tow. Mikenno did not know why his friend had sent this young ninja with him, but he was sure there was a reason for it.
"So, is this your first mission?" He asked of the boy trying to lighten the mood.

"That easy to figure out, huh?" asked Magnum in a rather dry tone. Armed with just his staff, the arrogant genin crossed his arms at the mysterious monk. In all honesty, he had to know something if he was chosen to try and find this mysterious being. But what? ? Could he sense her from afar? Read her mind? Teleport?

"Hey man, what are your abilities?" Magnum curiously asked aloud.

The young monk stopped and turned to face the new gennin with a warm and sincere smile on his kind face.
"Me?" He said in a pleasant but questioning tone.
"I am just a simple monk is all."

With that said he turned and continued to walk towards the gates of the village.

"That's nice." Magnum replied.

And just how in the nine hells is that going to catch whatever this man-killer....thing is? he thought. Unmoved by Mikenno's own words, Magnum just stood there and looked at him.

"Well, I'm very sure that monk's can't teleport." he mumbled in a rather bored manner, following te monk towards the entrance gates of the Butterfly countryy.

((I am very sorry my friends for my long absents, but I am at last in the states.))

Mikenno sighed, unfortunately he could not teleport them to their location. He shrugged after a moment as he passed under the huge village gate.
"So, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself." The monk asked this for two reasons. One he was trying to lighten the mood, but secondly and most importantly he needed to take measure of this young mans heart before they faced the beast that awaited them.

"Me?" Magnum asked. Truth be told, he was most definitely surprised at the young monk's question. But then again he would have made himself known. Whether or not the situation called for it. But alas, Magnum still smirked, crossing his arms. Moving his right hand closer to his thumb, he briefly slid his thumb across the bottom of his nose, smirking smugly.

"Well, looks like you're coming around, monk. And as you know, I am Magnum Cazador, also known as Phoenix flame Magnum. I take it you must some kind of good if Tenza knows you." he replied boldly. "Say monk, how do you know Tenza?"he asked with great curiosity.

When asked about his ties with the village noble the young monk stopped for a moment, his mind wandering through visions of the past time.
He was much younger than he was now when his home was attacked by the strange bandits and their mysterious defeat.
He recalled a time when he wandered alone in this world try to find clues to himself and the attack on his brothers
"Oh," he spoke in a very distracted tone of his voice. "I am just some one he saw needed help. That is all."
After a moment longer of walking down the lane of his memories he shook his head for a moment and retained his focus.
"Anyway, we do have more important things to tend to now. We need to make haste towards her projected target before it is too late." The monk realized that they had already wasted too much time talking and he began to rush off towards there destination.

"Yeah, whatever." Magnum replied in a somewhat bemused manner. Scoffing upon gazing at Mikenno suddenly leave for their own destination, the arrogant teenager did not finish speaking with the monk. Though had he stayaed, they woud have lost their target---No matter who this "man-killer" could be.

"I bet that I can handle this person". Magnum boldly stated, moving towards' Tenza's direction.
