| "It'd do nothing but keep you safe." He said as he stood up and stretched his arm a little. "Now, go complete your mission! You won't get to be a good kunoichi if you start leaving them incomplete now." |

| Feet shuffled along the ground through a thick wall of trees, then up the trees themself. A tall-for-her-age reddish-brown haired genin was training herself, since she had no idea just where her team or her leader were at the moment. And why waist such a nice day to train, really? If she slacked off too much, she'd lose some of her ability and would therefore be even less of a ninja than she was the day before. And such a thing just simply would not do. At least, not for this girl.
Soon the feet were shuffling from tree to tree, flipping mid-air as she went from one to another. Not via branch, for she was a little crazier than most. She used the trunks of the trees to travel in her crazy manner. She then boosted herself into the clearing after touching back to the ground and ran around in circles, jumping sideways sometimes as if she were dodging an enemy. This might seem silly or stupid or just plain tiring to some bystander, but to Haruka of the Kirijo family, it was training. Simple as that. And it helped her stamina, if nothing else. She'd already been at it for awhile, so her tongue was sticking out from the side of her mouth. But she needed more.
Even as she flipped and handsprung and whirled and threw kunai that would eventually stick to the ground, she knew she needed more stimulation than this. For a couple of weeks she'd been training on your own, and even as disciplined as she was, training by oneself was just no fun at all. It was actually very dull, and it was hard to keep concentrated. She avoided more invisible enemies and made her way about, picking up her weapons from the ground and putting them back into her tool pouch that tied to her thigh. It wasn't as if she really needed them out. Not now, not yet. This was actually her third clearing area she'd been to that had been empty, and she was feeling really rather annoyed by it.
And so the ninja set off back into another wall of trees, trying her best to control her chakra so she would slip from the bark. Occasionally she did, and when this happened she always launched herself towards another tree to continue on her merry way. She had to get used to this--her whole village was based up in the trees, and she could simply rely on branches like ninja from many other villages did. She had to learn to use the whole darn thing, or what use would she be really? And then she heard voices and saw the forms of others in the village in a clearing not too far off. She couldn't see quite who it was yet, but the mere thought of being around someone else excited her, so it was there she took off to.
At the end of this thick area of trees, she decided to go higher in the tree, and then launched herself off from the side of it into the clearing, her whole body rotating in sideways circles in the air, trying to find those others. And she saw three. "KYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" she shouted, announcing her presence to the whole lot of them. Hey, no one said she was a stealthy ninja. Besides, if it was someone from another village she should, theoretically, be able to escape easy enough. She landed with one and and knee on the ground, the other outward with a kunai in it. She looked up at the group and smirked, then grinned. "Hey everyone!" |

| "Okay!" Minori replied with a solute to Akira before turning to the other female with them. The girl skipped over and lightly tugged on her arm.
"C'mon, Sa-tan! Let's go complete our missio--"
Before she could finish and be on her way, she was interrupted by what sounded like a loud battle cry coming from the air above her head. Minori looked up, and what she saw was a young female jumping out from the thickness of the trees. She... Was so cool! The little brunette stared in awe as the woman landed beside the group, with a kunai in her hand and a smirk on her face. The woman only looked at them with a nonchalant greeting.
Minori, unable to hold it in, giggled and waved energetically in reply.
"Hiii!" she said finally before jogging over to the woman. "How did you get that high up into the tree?"

| As soon as Saya heard the noise she leapt into action. Stepping in front of Minori and pulling out a katar quickly, she then spared a glance at their attacker, currently spinning in mid-air. As she braced herself for the attack, she recognised the ‘assailant’. The girl put back her katar and relaxed enough to frown at the newcomer. Not an angry frown, it was a look that basically said; “What.” She had seen this girl before, in all her crazy glory, but Saya was never quite prepared for her impulsive attitude.
Oh, and look now! A quick look at Minori told Saya everything. There was another one in the making, seeing that impressed face, that sheer awe at the crazyness. Yes, it was flashy, but terribly reckless! Another second later, Haruka could have had a katar stuck in her back! Which would definitely limit one’s ability to impress and convert children. And live. Her frown deepened at the image, before she found herself annoyed at that she was getting so worked up about it all. Pushing it all to the back of her mind to simmer, she attempted to act calm, and cool. Saya wasn’t crazy like that girl; she was controlled, composed, tension free... Lying to oneself is easy, but actions speak louder than words.
She began; “Hey.” And after seeing Minori’s eagerness, “What was that entrance for?”

| Now close she was able to take everyone in. A sempai, a boy she didn't know too well, and a cute little girl with a flower on her head. Not a bad group to jump into, except that they were chuunin and not quite so eager for her type of antics. Or at least, Saya wouldn't be. She noticed that Saya-sempai had gone for her special weapon as if Haruka had been a threat, and started laughing. She simply couldn't help herself, and ended up receiving a look, which turned her laugh into a snicker before it finally faded away. "You always have that look, sempai."
Her attention was then turned to the child who'd waved so enthusiastically at her, and was now before her asking how she'd gotten so high. Haruka grinned, and gave a thumbs up. "My sensei taught me how! Said it was good for a ninja to learn to control their chakra." She gave a wink and patted the top of her head. She wanted so bad to play with the pigtails but held in the urge--she didn't really know the child. She felt refreshed after all the leaping and running and spinning and such, although some of her joints were slightly annoying her. That was a little high for that sort of impact, and she'd have to take it easier the next time. Work it a little higher each day, starting lower. That was the way to go.
Haruka pouted at Saya now, one hand loosely gripping her elbow as she slouched. It wasn't neccessarily an entrance, but it was practice! It had surprised sempai, yes, and had put her on offense mode, but in a real battle situation would Haruka have stayed there? Okay, fifty-fifty chance she would have stalled a second or two before joining in the fight but that was beside the point. "Eh, I was practicing jumping and running between trees and I saw some people and decided to drop in." What she left out was the literally part.
Suddenly remembering something she looked back at the little girl, and bent over to look her in the face. "Don't try that until you've got proper training and a sensei with you. You could get seriously hurt." It was two parts actual worry and three parts higher-ranks-are-watching-me, but she felt it would suffice just the same. A fingre lifted up and pressed to the child's nose, leaving Haruka with a wide grin. She really couldn't help herself with such an adorable little girl. |

| Her nose was being pushed as if it were a button, and from that, Minori's eyes squeezed shut as her nose scrunched up. It was not that she minded, it was only a natural reaction. Her grandmother would always poke at her nose like that, and the old woman always thought the girl's reaction was quite cute.
It was a good thing she was told not to try the stunt that the woman had pulled. Knowing Minori, she would have actually done it too. However, a slight pout of disappointment appeared on her face. With her current level of education at the moment, she was probably a long way from being taught that. That would not stop her from trying to learn something early though.
"Ne, Lady-san?" the child asked with a smile on her face. "Can you teach me how to climb trees like that after Sa-tan and I finish our mission? I don't think my sensei at school knows how to do that yet!"
What she had said was entirely not true. Minori just thought he was lame and boring. That chuunin could not possibly know how to do something as awesome as that.

| Saya’s frown lessened slightly, for two reasons. Firstly, Haruka seemed to be discouraging Minori from dangerous reckless activities – which was good, especially considering Minori was currently under her watch and responsibility. Saya was sure that no-one would be particularly pleased if she dragged back a half dead Minori. Even if she also brought back the missing arm. Secondly, she was proving Haruka wrong. She didn’t always have that look. See, she didn’t have it now right?
“Be a bit more careful next time.” She paused. “Please.”
Satisfied somewhat with Haruka’s message, Saya then considered Minori. She seemed to have taken it in, but that pout was slightly worrying. Despite how cute it was. “Well, we better get round to finishing our mission quickly then, shall we?” She didn’t object to the crazyness so much if it was training crazyness. Academy students needed all the chakra control training they could get, no? And once Minori learned the ability she couldn’t try teaching it herself…
As Saya waited for Minori to answer, she silently debated inviting Haruka on their mission of sorts. It would please the younger of the pair and it might help speed the search up… Minori might go ahead and do it anyway… |

She did not wait for Haruku's reply before turning back to Saya. ”Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that!” said Minori. ”C'mon! C'mon! We gotta go! Kage-sama needs his arm back soon!” The young girl took the chuunin's had and began to tug her away from the clearing. However, before leaving, Minori would turn back to the remaining two and shout something to them.
”Sorry Lady-san! I have to finish a top-secret mission, but maybe we can play later!”
