Save Me (Remake of demon-eyes12's RP)[[OPEN]]

The year is 890 and there is a feudal fight amongst Humans and Vampires. The war finds itself in the East of Japan. Whereas in the West, Vampires and Humans live along side each other but unrest is stirring within the small village as 4 new people arrive. The once calm and secluded town of Astral will change forever; can the people of Astral save the souls of the 4 vampires that are searching for salvation? Will anyone come forth to accept them as equals in the world or even defy the laws of society by learning to love them - despite the differences they share? Can the humans of the village ever trust them? The journey not only begins for the four vampires, but for four humans in particular and all who reside in Astral.

Boring Rules Section (You might want to read them. Subject to change, but not likely.)

1.) No god-modding, or anything like it.
If you have any questions as to what counts as god-modding, please ask Michi or myself.

2.) There is no rating!
Get as gory as you want. As this is a Yaoi RP, we also expect romance. Although if you're planning to get dirty and below the belt after stripping, please take it to PMs. Anyone who would like to read (the lemon) please contact the two people conducting it in the PMs.

3.) Literacy and Creativity.
I'm pretty sure you know what that means.

4.) Keep things realistic.
Obviously, you can't start tapping into hidden demonic powers (because there are no demons) or become a spliced experimental being (because this takes place in 890, no way technology was that advanced then so don't bother). Nor can you go overboard with your power(s).

5.) Respect other RPers.
If you want to do something with another person's character, please PM the character's owner. The rest I'm sure you already understand.

6.) Be active.
Like any other place, if you're going to be in-active for more than 3 days for any reason, please PM Michi or myself to discuss the details. This applies especially for the RPers taking one of the positions of the first 4 Vampires / Humans.

7.) You may choose to be a Human or Vampire only.

8.) Yes you may create more than one character.
Just make sure to PM the profile of the character(s) you wish to create to Michi and I as usual.

9.) Killing an RPC.
If you plan to kill an RPC or have your own killed, please PM the RPC's owner.

10.) Vampire limitations.
Following the original Save Me, vampires do burn in sunlight. No super-enhanced body like super strength capabilities. Only pure-bloods may transform humans into vampires. Humans transformed into vampires can't turn other humans into vampires. Vampires may last for about a week without any kind of blood before losing their sanity and possibly dying.

11.) Human limitations.
No super strength, like vampires. No animalistic powers either. If you want to have an element, choose one.

12.)Any other questions, ask Michi or myself.

Personality: Light-hearted and charming. Only acts teasing and/or seductive to people he has taken a strong liking to. Dwells on things deeply when alone.
Background: Born in a small home by the sea in Japan, Shintetsu and his family had befriended a pure-blooded vampire as a child growing up. When the family was attacked for protecting a vampire, Shintetsu's parents were slain for treason and he was mortally wounded himself. The vampire, wanting to save his friend, bit him and hid him from the sun and the angry villagers before burning up in the light. ((The details after the incident will be revealed in the RP or given to those who ask for it via PM))

Personality: A kind, yet enigmatic person. Prefers the quietness of his room and looking out his window at the world surrounding him. Likes watching the rain fall for some reason.
Background: Kousei is the son of the Lord of Astral. His mother died when he was 8 yrs. old., and ever since then he has prefered to remain in his room and be alone. Kousei was not always like that though. He used to love to be around his mother and to meet new people. His mother was the only person who ever understood him and since she departed from his world, Kousei began to separate himself from the rest of the people in home and always wished to be alone. Kousei loves his father, but sometimes the lord is strange, lazy, and he doesn't really understand Kousei. Kousei is also very skilled at using his katanas.

Kousei sat in his room with the doors open and watched the rain as it fell. He liked the rain for some reason. A reason he did not know. Kousei put his head on his knee as he continued to watch quietly. That quietness didn't last long when his servants began screaming his name.

Ah...here we go again. he thought. The screaming continued until one of the sevants found him.

"Lord Kousei! Where have you been? Everyone in this castle have been looking for you! We were worried that something had happened" the servant said. Kousei got up and stretched. "I was watching the rain fall." he answered still watching it. "You see, unlike me, the rain is able to go where ever it pleases. Well, anyway, I'm sorry for making everyone worry." Kousei said as he walked out of the room.

Wandering in the rain to the neutral town of Astral was Shintetsu, a vampire. He was glad that the weather permitted him to travel for a longer time in the day. His only wish was that he wasn't soaked since he never particularly liked the feel of heavy, saggy clothes. After getting to Astral however, the vampire hoped to buy a change of clothes and a place to stay for awhile to perform. It may seem odd for a vampire, but his power was tied to light. As such it was simple for Shintetsu to make money by performing illusions on the street and selling fireworks around the festival seasons.

About walking for another three miles, he came upon the walls of a vast garden and what was the backside of a lavish mansion.

With a single jump he landed smoothly upon the top of the high walls and walked on them toward the front of the mansion. It was much better than simply going around next to it and waiting at the front gate to be let in, the view was better higher up. Shintetsu hopped off the wall after getting to the inside of the front gate to greet the guards.

"Good afternoon gentleman."

As Kousei walked down the halls of his home, the servants bowed and said their hellos and relieves of him being ok. "Everyone. I'm sorry that I have worried you all." Kousei said as he continued to walk.

When he reached the room of where he wanted to be, Kousei opened the door. Behind it, was a man sitting on the floor. "What are doing?" Kousei asked the man. The man turned around and bowed. "Lord Kousei. It's nice to see you again. I was just sitting here waiting for you."A the man replied. Kousei shook his head. "Father. You are very strange." he explained before bowing and sitting across from his father. The lord just laughed and said, "So I am."

As Kousei and his father spoke, the guards walked around the wall out their lavish home. One guard noticed someone walking on the wall and then jumping down inside the front gate. "Who are you?" the head guard asked placing his hand on his sword. "Why have you come? What business do you have here?"

Not wishing to stir up trouble just as he arrived, Shintetsu placed up his hands in the air, palms facing upward to the sky in a peaceful gesture.

"Dear sir I mean no harm. I have no weapons whatsoever and if you do not trust me then you may search me. I am merely your traveling entertainer and salesman. Let me introduce myself. I am Shintetsu, the Magician of Light. I've come to entertain the masters and residents of the house and possibly stay for the night. As you know, it's unfavorable to travel in the rain. May I come inside to dry off after you finish searching?"

The vampire had told no lies and put up an earnest expression to further prove his innocence.

The guard looked at the man, motioned for another guard to search him, and then spoke. "You must speak to one of my masters first. If they say you can stay and entertain them, then you may." he said before the other guard finished searching the intruder.

After the other guard him that the man was clear, the guard spoke once again. "You may come in while I speak to my masters, but you are not to go any further than the entrance hallway. Understand?" The guard didn't wait for a reply and lead the man to the entrance of the estate. He whispered something to one of the servants inside and then lead the stranger inside. The servant went to Kousei's father's room and summoned the young master.

"Lord Kousei, there is someone named Shintetsu, the Magician of Light, at the main entrance that would like to speak to you." the servant said while bowing to her masters. Kousei sighed and then looked at his father. "Father, I shall be right back. Please wait for me." he said as he got up, bowed to his father, and walked out of the room. Kousei then headed towards the main entrance of the estate.

Why does this man wish to speak to me? What could he possibly want? he pondered as he reached the main entrance. Kousei looked at the soaking wet man and sighed. Nevermind about what he wants. I see now. I forgot it was raining.

The head guard and all the servant bowed to Kousei and he gave a slight bow back. "This is Lord Kousei, the young master of the house. My Lord, this is Mr. Shintetsu." the guard said. Kousei walked a few steps closer and then spoke.

"As they said, I am the young master of this mansion. Why have you asked to speak to me?"

Shintetsu took the momentary time to be alone to make an observation about his surroundings. The entrance hall was made with rare kinds of wood. Upon display were various porcelain pieces. There were vases, dishes, urns and sculptures of every color, shape and size littered all throughout the hall. Judging from the riches and how well-respected the guards were in speaking about their masters, the vampire assumed that this estate belonged to a noble of some sort.

Listening to the echo of vibrations within the walls, the footsteps of the guards that had left him were getting louder. Another pair were also making its way toward him. They were not too soft, and unstressed. It must be the young master come to greet him. When the owners of the footsteps did arrive, everyone bowed with utmost reverence. The silver-haired guest gave a slight bow himself as he was addressed.

"As you may have been informed, I'm a traveling entertainer looking for a place to perform and cast away your boredoms. Birds should not be locked away in cages idling their days away."

Kousei looked at his guest as he spoke about his reason for coming to the estate. He realized how handsome Shintetsu was with his pale complection, silver hair and golden eyes. How can anyone be so beautiful? Who is this person? he thought. After a while, Kousei broke his gaze and nodded.

"I agree with you. Birds should not be locked away in cages idling their days away. Though, as you may know, not everyone has the choice of being able to spread their wings and fly away into the world. I'm the perfect example of that." the young master said with a sigh. Kousei wanted to venture more into the world that was beyond the walls of his estate, but he was still unsure. As the young lord of the estate and all of Astral, there was a lot of pressure on him as to meeting everyone's expectations.

Kousei sighed again and re-addressed his guest. "Mr. Shintetsu, was it? Seeing as how it is raining, you may stay here until the rain clears up or as long as you like for that manner." he said as he motioned for a female servant standing near him. "Please go and get a towel for our guest. You don't want him to freeze, do you? Bring it to his room when you're finished" the servant, whose head was bowed, shook, then nodded her head and went to abide by her master's orders.

After that servant left, the others began to clean the water and mud off the floor that had been brought in by the guards and Shintetsu. "You two, please go and prepare Mr. Shintetsu's room for him." Kousei said motioning for two other servants. "Make sure that everything is to his liking when you are finished. Also, give him whatever he asks for, but make sure you tell me first. Understood?" he asked before they bowed and went on their way to do their assigned duties.

The young master turned his attention back towards his guest. "Mr. Shintetsu? Please follow me." Kousei said as he turned to walk down the hall. He was walking towards his own room. When they reached it, Kousei opened the door and walked in. "Until your room is ready, you may stay in here. As you can see, this is my room, but I could use the company. I hope you don't mind."

During the time Shintetsu has his head down, he couldn't see the young master's reaction to his introduction. However he swore he could feel Kousei scanning his unnatural features and contemplating something related to them. Well, it wasn't as if it was strange or anything new. He had long gone past the period of uneasiness and awkwardness that accompanied such appearances. The only thing he was unnerved by was how long the silence held by the human before him was. What was he thinking about? When at last the young master finally spoke with a slight twinge of sorrow held in his voice it was somehow disheartening.

Immediately after Kousei ordered his servants to attend to him, the vampire had realized he had tracked mud into the sanctum. Obviously that was somewhat bad behavior, but when you're a nomadic vampire that issue isn't very important enough to take notice to. However he did feel regretful for doing that to have people clean up after him like that, even if it was an order from their own master.

"I apologize for my rudeness. I should have properly dried and cleaned myself off before entering. Please forgive my thoughtlessness." He said turning to the ones assigned with the task of cleaning up and looking after him. Shintetsu gave a small bow and left to follow the noble as his attention was reverted back to the pale-skinned guest.

Once the two had reached appointed room, the vampire's suspicions arose. Normally a guest would be directed to an already prepared guest room, whether one was present or not, to use. However in this case he was led to the room of the young master himself. Was it possible they had suspected him of being an assassin, or if worse, actually a vampire? In either case he would have to be careful if they were being watched. Innocent people had been victims to paranoia before. Shintetsu carried his form into the room smoothly.

"I am honored for you to invite me into your own room. I hope I'm not intruding. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu."

Once inside, he looked about quickly for exits lest he really would be attacked. There were large windows, that was good. The room was elaborately designed with rich furnishings fit for a king, and it seemed rather comfortable.

"Is there anything you would like for me to do? It may not seem like it, but I'm a master of entertainment. I can grant almost any wish, even if just for a little while."

The servants looked up at Shintetsu as they continued to clean the floor. One servant shook her head and spoke, "It's ok. You were not being rude. You were just trying to get out of the rain and didn't realize you carried anything in. Seeing as how you did nothing of a terrible stature, there is nothing to forgive, but it it makes you feel at ease, we forgive you." she said and all the other servants nodded in agreement with her.

Normally, Shintetsu would have been taken to a guest room, but Kousei wanted to talk to his guest before he locked himself away in his own room and Kousei was dragged off to strategy meetings and other tedious things. The young master wanted to get to know him a little. Not because he was suspicious of him, but because he wanted to know more about how he became a traveling entertainer and of the places he has been. As he had mentioned before, he was a bird trapped in his cage.

"Why thank you and you're welcome. No, you are not intruding. Remember, I said I could use the company."

Kousei went over to his favorite spot by the windows. He stared out at the falling rain for a bit before turning back to Shintetsu, who was quickly looking around his room. Kousei had noticed Shintetsu's aura when they arrived and even though he was trying to hide it, Kousei saw that he was a little uncertain. The young master let out a small, short laugh under his breath looking back at the window, then at Shintetsu.

"There's no need to be so worried, Mr. Shintetsu. No one is suspicious of you or going to attack you. Kousei said motioning for his guest to sit down at the low level table near him. "Please sit and relax. You are my guest and I intend to treat you that way.

Kousei got up from his spot, went over to the table near Shintetsu and sat down on a cushion. His kimono began to slide off right shoulder, but seeing as how he left it alone, he didn't seem to care."Would like to know why I invited you to my room? It's because I wanted to talk to you without being bothered and disrupted by the servants." the young master said with a sigh. "As you know, I am not one who is allowed to travel the world, let alone leave these estate grounds. Especially in this time of war. My worldy experiences are non-exsistant and I would like to know more about the things outside the four walls of my home."

Kousei looked down at the table and contemplated what he ws going to say next. He finally looked up at Shintetsu and spoke, "Seeing as how you are a traveling entertainer, I was wondering if you could tell me of the places you have seen in the world. If that is not to much to ask." Kousei poured some tea for his guest as well as himself. He slid a cup over infront of Shintetsu and began to drink his own. Kousei's kimono slid even futher down his shoulder and arm, yet he still did not seem to care.
