Aki was slightly puzzled as the man did not react to the two knives at all. They had penetrated into his skin deeply and he did not even flinch. For a second, the boy thought the man could be a clone of some sort, but clones would usually disappear when something comes into contact with them. The genin could clearly see that this man was, in fact, real as he held the helpless woman by the neck against the stone wall of a mosuleum.

Despite the fact that his little ambush failed, the boy continued to flit toward the two. It was time for plan B; if throwing projectiles would not work, then Aki would have to quickly come up with something. As he ran, he leaned forward and, just as he approached the stranger, the genin spun at an angle of fourty degrees and tackled the man as hard as he could with his shoulder.

Aki tumbled a bit upon impact himself, but still managed to stay on his feet while the man was sent flying toward the opposite direction. The boy could not help but feel slightly proud with his action. Not only did he manage to save the woman, but he actually sent the man flying further than he had originally thought.

Seeing as the stranger's flight was interrupted by a large tombstone, the male twin turned to help the woman up. There was one problem, however; she had suddenly disappeared from where he thought she had landed.

".... What...?" Aki muttered in slight confusion. He turned his head after hearing he shout toward him, seeing that she was almost close to the cemetery's exit. How did she get that far already...?

Nonetheless, the woman sounded urgent and completely frightened. He did as she said and followed after her without even looking to see what had happened to the man he had tackled a moment ago.

Meanwhile, Hazumi was just arriving from the far opposite side of the cemetery. From the trees, she was able to jump over the tall gates and onto the top of one of the mausoleums. She looked around for her brother.

She absolutely hated this place. Not only did the dead silence and the mist from the river give the area an eerie feeling, but it was also a little depressing.

Wanting to leave as soon as possible, Hazumi wasted no time in her search. She started hopping around the gravestones before eventually finding her twin running off with some unfamiliar woman.

She stopped on one of the large stones and shouted, "Aki! Wait up!" After that, she jumped off of the tombstone and followed.

Just as she began to catch up with her brother, Hazumi found two small black blurs zooming right past her and making their way toward Aki. It only took her a second to realize that there were kunai, and it would be impossible for her to block them from him at her current position.

"Watch out!" she screamed, but although her voice was loud enough to hear, her warning was useless. The brother spun around just in time for the first kunai to leave a scratch on his cheek. The second one, however, pierced deep into his right shoulder. Taken by surprise, he lost his balance and fell over.

Hazumi, in the other hand, quickened her pace to get to the now injured male. She knelt down at his side and noticed his light blue clothing stained in dark red. The injury did not look too serious, but she did not know whether she should just pull it out or leave it in. However, the girl was also curious as to who owned the two projectiles. She looked toward the direction they had come from and finally noticed the man she was completely oblivious to earlier. It was that strange man the twins had seen at the lower area of the mountains earlier. Just as Rui and Aki had been suspicious of, this man was up to no good.

"Hey!" Hazumi suddenly blurted out toward the man. "What the big idea?! You hurt my brother!"

The only thing Hazumi heard was, not the strange man's answer, but the... Squishing sound of her brother pulling the kunai out of his shoulder and then later throwing it to the ground. Aki slowly stood up and pulled a long metal pole from his back. His sister simply stood back, allowing her brother to do has he please.

On one end of the metal pole was something wrapped in cloth. Aki unraveled the white leather string the kept the cover from falling off, revealing a wide, flat blade. However, with a flick of a tiny switch, that single blade became four. This weapon of his actually resembled a rather large pinwheel. The blond pointed this at the slowly approaching man. his entire sleeve was now drenched in blood.

"You're going to pay for that..." Aki muttered to the man. his voice was low and soft, and yet, it was in a very angry tone. He moved his arm so the weapon was perpendicular to his body, with the four blades facing away from him as they began to spin. Then, after feeding enough chakra into the metal pinwheel, the Kisetsu genin swing the blade with full force, sending his razor-sharp wind chakra toward the stranger.

Aki’s first and simple attack was only that of a threat as the razor wind barely missed the man’s side and cut a tomb behind him clean in half. Then, with the open invitation, the boy tightened his grip around his weapon and dashed toward the man with the blades at his side.

The blond was not dumb enough to just run and swing at an opponent he has never fought before. The boy disappeared within a blur as he neared the stranger, before reappearing a couple of meters away from behind him. As quickly as his arms could, Aki swung the metal pinwheel and sent a wide gust of cutting wind at the man.

Meanwhile, Hazumi could only stand at the sideline as she was unable to stop her brother before he leaped into action. After hearing the woman that was with him, she thought it was not a good idea to pick a fight with this man. Her twin just loved getting into trouble.

Speaking of the woman, where had she run off to? Hazumi looked at her surroundings before spotting a hint of bright red hair at a nearby gravestone. She jogged over to find the woman hiding like a coward behind it. It was rather peculiar to find a grown woman hiding like this.

”Hey.” the Kisetsu female said as she knelt down next to the woman. ”Are you okay? You seem terrified.”
