| The Valley of the Dead; This is basically the cemetery the Sanjou. There is a river going through the valley, and this is where bodies end up if they somehow fall of the mountain village. Mist covers this area, which can give visitors an eerie feeling. There is a small hut at the corner of this cemetery. The undertaker who lives there makes sure that any corpses found nearby are identified and buried.

| The strange man walked loosely up to the gate of the great cemetery and peered through the bars. After a moment of staring and a few rasping mechanical breaths he called out in that dry voice of his, "Hey, anybody in there!?" He stood, again, in silents for a moment longer before a pale ragged old man with scraggly gray hair came into view, stepping out from behind a nearby tree. "There's no need to shout,"said the old man in a weary, aged voice. "I'm right here." He stopped and took measure of the strange looking man standing before him. "How may I help you today?" He asked with an under lying tone of suspicion. The stranger stared at the old man for a moment, a strange gleam in his shaded eyes. The old grave keep was becoming a bit unnerved, his palms beginning to sweat. The man finally spoke, after what seemed like an eternity, in a dry rasping voice and wore on the older mans nerves like a file. "Oh," he spoke,"I just want you to let me in to this place. That's all." The old grave keep thought on this for a moment and then decided that he did not want any trouble with this stranger. Usually he would keep people like this out, but something drove him to comply. The thing he didn't want to admit to himself was that this driving force was pure fear, he was afraid of this man and he had no clue why. Slowly, while keeping both eyes glued to the stranger, the old man moved cautiously towards the gate. After a brief moment of fumbling with his keys the gate swung inwards with a grinding creek. Without another word the stranger walked past him and into the graveyard, quickly disappearing behind the rows of crypts. The old man let out a sigh of relief and walk back around to the other side of the tree, visibly shaking and sweating. He tried to return to his nap, but his dreams where haunted by this stranger and the pure fear he instilled in the old man. _________________

| The heavily cloaked young woman stood silently onto of a nearby crypt, watching her mark with interest. She was not told what the man was looking for, all she knew was that it was her job to ensure that he did not find it. Her employer did not mention who this man was, he had simply given her a picture and a location and told her not to allow him to achieve his goal. At first she was not even aware what that was, in a way she still wasn't. It took a few days of tedious stalking and covert ops to figure out some clue as to what this man was up to. She was quickly loosing her calm demeanor, however, she hated playing the waiting game. It was very warm underneath her metallic cloak and that did not help her already growing temper. "I suppose if I simply just killed this man he could never achieve his goal."She thought to herself out loud as she truthfully considered just taking the targets life to end this mission as soon as possible. However, she realized that she did not know anything about this strange mans abilities. This fact kept her at bay, at least for now. |

| The strange man moved through the rows of graves, his head turning from side to side scanning the area. Every few moments the sound of his mechanical breathing apparatus could be heard from underneath his wide brimmed hat. He was beginning to grow irritated, with the exception of hearing that young girls marvelous scream, this entire trip had so far been a waste of time. "There are so many blasted crypts in this shit hole," He rasped in anger as he attempted to stand up straight. "How am I to know which one this blasted thing is in?" His rasping became quicker as he fumed. Reaching into on of the pouches on his hip he pulled out a small vial of thick sickish yellow fluid. He held the vial up to his eyes for a moment before jamming the top of it into a hole in the top of his respirator. After a moment the entire contents of the vial drained into the metal box leaving only an empty tube sticking out the top. The stranger took a very deep, rasping, breath of relief. His body began to tremble with pleasure as this particular drug went to work on his nervous system sending all manner of wonderful sensations through his body. He braced himself against a nearby crypt and slid slowly down it into a sitting position. His body continued to quiver as his mind wandered and strange, but calming, thoughts filled his head. His vision was unfocused as well as his mind, but he preferred it this way. Life was so much easier when one was drugged out of his mind. _________________
