Fun in the maze

Kansou had been following the blond somewhat silently as the two went through the maze. Between gazing at the sites in awe and listening to Hachimitsu, the brunette had been writing down in his mind of where the landmarks were, and in what order to follow them. Soon enough, the exit could be seen ahead, as well as Ichijin, who appeared to had just begun searching for Kansou.

"Hi Ichi! I'm not lost anymore!" Kansou exclaimed as he waved to his partner. Using the white rose he had received earlier, he pointed at his guide after Ichijin had asked who the blond was. "This is Hachi-san! He helped me out of the maze!"

"Well, thank you for helping Kansou out of the maze, Hachi-san, was it?" He laughed a little. "We can finally EAT." With the last word stressed, he looked over at Kansou and smiled. He approached the brunette and ruffled his hair gently. "But yeah, thanks again." Ichijin smiled at the blonde standing next to his partner.

"Yeah! Thanks a lot!!" Kansou said after Ichijin with a smile as well. An idea suddenly came into the brunette's mind. They were close enough to the picnic area to see the table his partner had set up, and Kansou was looking toward that. He then turned back to the blond before suggesting something.

"Hey Hachi-san! Why don't you come sit down with Ichi and me and have some lunch? I want to repay you for helping me out of the maze. The food's going to be great!"

"I-I couldn't, I don't want to intrude." Hachimitsu smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "Thank you for the offer, but I don't want to impose." He cleared his throat after looking over at Ichijin, who had this strange...combination of a scowl and a look of disapproval on his pale, tattooed face.

He giggled nervously and fingered at the stem of one of the flowers he was holding in his arm.

Ichijin cleared his throat and looked at Kansou. He looked so eagar about having this blonde stranger for lunch. He thought about it for a moment. "Well, it's not like me and him don't have lunch together all the time anyways." He tried to muster up a smile the best he could. "You wouldn't be imposing at all. I have an extra plate packed for our friend, who's also extremely late, as well. Plenty to go around."

"I...I guess I could, if you already have an extra lunch packed, anyways." Hachimitsu felt sort of awkward about having lunch with the silver haired man he had just met. If anything, he was a little afraid of him.

Kansou had not noticed the scowl on his partner's face, since... Well, he was not really looking at Ichijin at the moment.

After Ichijin has insisted that the blond should have lunch with them, Hachi had accepted the invitation, and a small "Yay!" escaped from the brunette's lips as he clapped once, lightly. Grabbing their hands, both Hachi's and Ichijin's, Kansou somewhat skipped over to the picnic table.

"You're going to love the stuff we packed up, Hachi-san!" he exclaimed as they arrived at the table. The brunette looked over it, seeing actual silverware and plates, complete with folded napkins. Kansou did not seem to mind those much though, since he appeared to be more interested in the strawberries, which were probably hidden somewhere. "So Ichi, what did you pack this time."

Hachi laughed slightly as he was being pulled by the skipping brunette over to the table. Today was sure going to be interesting.

Ichijin being unpacking the food from the basket after they had arrived back at the table. "Well, I thought lunch should be different for once, so I packed american food." He pulled out a few filled containers "Pasta salad, Potato salad, sandwiches.." He pulled out a bigger bowl with a plastic lid "Himoto made a salad...that she won't get a chance to eat.." A couple bottles of water and Tea, and one more container. "And strawberry cake."

"Everything looks so delicious" Hachimitsu commented as he sat and and watched Ichijin unpack.

"Thanks." Ichijin smiled slightly and sat. He moved the basket to the ground next to him and opened the containers.

After hopping into the seat that would be next to Ichijin's, Kansou watched as their lunch was unpacked one container after another. This should be interesting, for the brunette has never tasted American food before. It all looked so delicious.

"I think I'll have the cake first!" Kansou said as he reached out to get the cake knife.

"Oh no you're not." Ichijin swiped the cake knife from the boy and put it in the picnic basket. "Eat food first, then you can have cake." He handed the brunette a sandwich just as a mother would to a child who tried to eat dessert before dinner.

Hachimitsu took a sandwich, and a small portion of each type of salad. "This lunch is delicious." He exclaimed after taking a few bites of each type of food. Ichijin didn't seem as scary now to him. for one, he was an excellent cook, and he invited Hachi to lunch, even though he didn't really seem like he wanted him to join the two.

"Oh, Kansou, do you like strawberries?" Hachi question curiously after seeing the small brunette launch for the angel's food cake topped with heaping amounts of fresh strawberries before eating anything else.

"But cake is food..." Kansou said with a slight pout on his face. A sandwich was placed on the table in front of him, and the brunette only looked at it before he picked it up. Might as well just listen to Ichijin and eat it. The faster he finishes this, the faster he can get to eating that mouth-watering strawberry cake. The sandwich was quite delicious though.

After a few moments, the sandwich was gone, and Kansou was dusting bread crumbs off of his shirt, and his fingers. He then looked up to Hachimitsu, who was questioning him about strawberries.

"Oh, strawberries are the best thing in the world! Well... Second best." The brunette looked over to Ichijin with a smile before turning back to the blond. "I have them almost everyday!"

Ichijin smirked and pecked the brunette on the side of the head after his comment about the best thing in the world.

'He just kissed him.' Hachi's thoughts processed as he took another forkful of the pasta salad. He swallowed and responded "Everyday, really?" he questioned with a curious face.

"He's serious. Every. Day." Ichijin spoke dryly.

Hachimitsu giggled, "well, you'll sure like my florist shop then. I grow my own strawberries and other fruit in the greenhouses." He hoped this comment would spark the brunette's interest.

"Oh, really?" Kansou replied, obviously interested. Now that he was finished with the sandwich, the brunette decided to get himself a slice of cake. As he took the cake knife, he pulled the cake toward him before taking a big slice of the pastry, with the most on it. Now, where did he get that knife? Or actually, how did he get it? It was placed back into the basket, which is currently sitting on the ground at Ichijin's side of the table.

"We should visit the shop then! Can we, Ichi?"

Ichijin did a quick double take of Kansou's hand holding the knife, and the picnic basket sitting to the side of him. He simply shrugged and continued to eat.

Hachimitsu nodded and took a small sip of his drink. "Yes, I'd love to show you the greenhouses. If there's a bush with ripened berries today, I could give you some. If you'd like, of course." He smiled and cleared his plate.

Ichijin swallowed "I suppose we could visit the shop after we're done eating, Kansou." he shrugged his shoulders slightly "If you're not too busy, of course." He added, looking over at Hachimitsu.
