Murasaki, Takeshi of Arashigakure

|| My village record ||
  • Name: Murasaki, Takeshi. A.k.a Takeshi the undying
  • Age: 35
  • DOB: April 25
  • Rank: Gufuukage
  • Village: Arashigakure
  • Appearance: Murasaki Takeshi is a very large man, standing about 6' 4” tall and is 180 lbs of pure muscle. He has high spiked jet black hair and is very tanned, despite the constant rainy conditions of his home. He wears a dark blue bandanna around his forehead constantly, to help keep his hair from falling into his stunningly bright emerald eyes. He is usually dressing in an old beat up pair of dark brown cargo pants and black combat boots. He covers his torso with a very loose fitting denim sleeveless jacket, leaving it unbuttoned as if to show off his stunning physique. His right wrist is usually wrapped up to his elbow in black leather strips. On his left bicep is a tattoo of a great blue water serpent with what can only be described as a winged devil or demon struggling to keep its jaws from closing in on it.

|| It's just me ||
  • Personality: Takeshi is a very easy going person, most of the time. He enjoys drinking, brawling, and gambling and hates sitting behind a desk. He is often criticizes ,by people who do not know him, for being irresponsible and unworthy of the position of Gufuukage. They claim that he is not Kage material. They could not be more wrong. On the field of battle Takeshi is an entirely different person. He is a fearless warrior, often preferring a direct head on approach to combat as apposed to the traditional shinobi fighting tactics. He views anything other than physical strength as cowardice, saying that Ninjutsu as well as Genjutsu are for those too afraid to face there enemy head on. Well it is assumed that he must know at least some powerful Ninjutsu to have made it to his position, no one has ever seen him employ it. He is a strong leader who, instead of taking a direct approach to leading, prefers to allow those below him to follow there own path and make there own mistakes. He is often heard saying that each man must make his own way in the world and be the master of his own fate. He firmly believes in this philosophy that nothing is set in stone.
  • Background: Very little is known of Takeshis life before the age of 20 when he signed on as a crew member for a very infamous band of mercenaries known as the Crimson Cloaks. He started out in the very lowest of ranks, doing petty tasks and menial errands. He eventually worked his way up in the chain to become one of the highest ranking members. His tactics of straight forward head on combat were not often expected by those who were familiar with the ways of the Crimson Cloaks. Upon a great change in leadership Takeshi was removed from his post when the new leadership decided to take the group in a “different direction”. Turning the members from Mercenaries to Assassins over night. Young Takeshi viewed this sudden shift to the shadows as cowardice and was not at all trouble by his removal from the organization. For a time he traveled the country, selling his services to the highest bidder. He eventually decided to sign on with the crew of a great sailing ship. He stayed with this crew for several years, growing quiet fond of the sea. He became very well known by anyone who opposed his captain as a monster, for no one ever defeated him in battle. One day after a particularly difficult battle with a band of notorious pirates in deep sea, the ship was horribly damaged. It would seem that even though they had one the day the crew was not meant to survive it. Suddenly a great storm overcame the ship, smashing it to smithereens and slaying most of the crew. Takeshi was on the very brink of death himself as he lay on a large piece of the former sailing vessel floating in the water. It was then that “they” came for him. The Shinigami, Gods of Death. Takeshi refused to go with them, instead doing his best to fight them with what strength he had left to him. One of these spirits in particular was known for its own physical prowess and taking great joy in the fact that a mere human would try to fight him made Takeshi an offer. The Shinigami God told the nearly dead sailor that if he could defeat him in combat that his life would be spared. Takeshi excepted and a great battle ensued. For a time the Shinigami had the upper hand over the poor human man. However, even Gods are not above gloating. Takeshi took this chance to gain the upper hand. Using the last of his strength he overcame the showboating God and tore out it's eyes with his bare hands. There was a horrible, mind rending, scream as the Shinigami died and Takeshi blacked out. When he came to he was in a bed in the home of one of the kind citizens of Arashigakure. It would seem that he washed up on the shore of the island village and was taken into there care. The old woman who lived at the house was very glad to see the young man finally awaken and explained to him how when they had found him the only thing he had with him other than the cloths on his back, which were now in tatters, was two strange gems that he had clutched close to his body as though they were the only things left to him in this world. She presented him with the gems, which looked like two golf ball sized spherical cut Fire Opal stones. These stones where incredibly smooth and warm to the touch. Takeshi took one look at the gems and knew that the episode with the Shinigami was more than just a mere hallucination. After he was feeling back to himself he decided to stay in the village and finally set his roots. While he did not wish for a family, he had grown tired of wandering. Plus, he did feel a great dept to the people who had saved his life.

    Several years passed for him as he lived and worked in the village, he eventually was made head of the villages civilian militia and trained them rigorously. It would seem, however, that fate was not quiet ready to allow this man to settle down entirely. One midsummer day, during a particularly horrible storm, a horrible wailing sound could be heard beyond the walls of the village. Takeshi took a group of his best men to the wall to investigate. Upon reaching the wall there was a great explosion that rent it to pieces, killing or wounding all of his men. When the air cleared Takeshi stared wide eyed at the huge monster responsible for the damage. I giant three headed serpent demon from the dark depths of the ocean had come to wreck havoc on the village. Many brave shinobi tried to concur the beast, but to no avail. Eventually the previous Lord Gufuukage joined the battle, he was a great and powerful old man. With the brave Takeshi at his side the old man successfully drove the monster back and save the village. However, he did so at the cost of his own life. After the funeral when a new Kage was to be named Takeshis name came up, the elders saying that he was fighting with there previous lord to the very end. After much deliberation Takeshi was offered the job, which he begrudgingly took. He felt as thought this was his best chance to both repay and protect the village that had been so kind to him. He has now held the position for five years.

    Stories have come to pass about how the brave Gufuukage defeated death itself, fought and killed a great sea monster and cannot be killed. Takeshi denies these the majority of the time, but must admit that they do make good tales. It is because of this that he is called the undying.

  • Likes: Drinking, Brawling, gambling, women, training, and having a good time.
  • Dislikes: Paper work, cowards, being called a coward, and being called Lord.

|| I'm way good at this ||
  • Weaponry: Shortly upon settling in the village Takeshi took the gems he knew to be the eyes of the very Shinigami he had battled to save his own life and had them set into a very special sword. This blade was custom made for him by the very best blacksmith in the entire village, a master of his trade and the oldest and most experienced man around. The blade alone of this great weapon is said to be equal in hight to the Gufuukage himself and about a foot wide. The hilt is wrapped in worn tanned leather. Set into the blade vertically directly above the hilt are the two gems that Takeshi ripped from the God of Deaths eye sockets. It is said that who so ever is killed by the blade has there very soul trapped in the blade and helps to prolong the wielders very life.

Okugi, Mikenno of Kadangakure

|| My village record ||
  • Name: Okugi, Mikenno, Kamimaru
  • Age: 20
  • DOB: June 13
  • Rank: None
  • Village: Kadangakure
  • Appearance: Mikenno stands about 6’5” tall with short, often spiked, snow white hair. His skin is fair and unblemished. He often dresses in baggy white clothing resembling the robes of a Buddhist monk. His katana hangs habitually at his side and the golden symbol of what he calls his guardian Kami.

|| It's just me ||
  • Personality: Mikenno is a very pious young man, but he does have a fondness for the young women. It is about his only weakness. He is a very helpfull person and will go out of his way to help almost anyone, especially if a young lady is involved. He does get depressed from time to time when he thinks about the deaths of his brothers.
  • Background: The Okugi family has lived in Kadan for generations and until recently there history was fairly uneventful. While training at the academy a terrible accident occurred. In a sudden out burst of uncontrolled chakra from one of the students the young Mikenno was killed. As students and staff rushed around in mass panic a solitary woman entered the training grounds and stood over the boy. Her long blond hair moving wildly in the wind and a silver pendant around her neck. She then knelt over the dead boy, her hands positioned over his forehead and chest. A strange light began to glow around the hands of the even stranger woman. After a few moments of this the glow cease and the strange woman stood again, her eyes tired but relieved. She told the boys instructor to take him to the med center, they complied immediately. The stranger vanished shortly after. Mikenno awoke in the hospital three days later, alive and well. He began to speak to people about what had happened after he had passed. He described vivid scenes of light and sound, a feeling of complete joy. He talked about how he could feel the energy of the universe flow through his being, and with a sudden jerk it was gone and he was back on earth. He also described the sensation of a strange voice in his head giving him advice and revealing hidden truths of life. Of course no one believed him, not even his parents. A week or so later he re-entered the academy to continue his training. He was expelled two days later. It was as if all of his chakra had been drained. He could not even muster enough to perform the most basic of jutsu. His parents were shocked, since chakra is the very essence of life, and since none could be sensed in him did that mean he was dead? Even the mighty Niwakage tried to discern what had happened to the boy, he came up with nothing. Everyone who had known the boy pulled away from him, frightened by the boys’ apparent lack of life force. He left the village and joined a nearby Buddhist monastery. The monks openly accepted him, taking him into there order. He continued to grow, both physically and spiritually. By the age of 15 he had mastered everything the monks could teach him. His spiritual energy was nearly limitless, it was as if the gods had blessed him, in fact the monks had taken to calling him Kamimaru, which translates to the warrior for the gods. They said they sense something in him, something unnatural. At first he took this as a bad omen, but the master of the temple reassured him that it was a very good feeling that his fellow monks reported. He said it was a sense of extreme peace and balance. Reaffirmed in his beliefs he continued to train his mind, soul, and body so as to achieve peace. One day the unspeakable occurred, a group of merciless Ronnin attacked the monastery, killing many of the monks. Waking from a deep meditation Mikenno heard the sounds of his brothers dying to defend there home. Rushing outside to the courtyard he was suddenly overcome by a great sorrow as he watched his friends, his brothers, die to these godless bandits. He joined the battle, but quickly learned he was out numbered vastly. He was about to fall back when a strange, yet familiar, voice filled his head. It told him not to give up, he could beat these foes. Suddenly he felt a great light fill his soul, the world flashed white. The next moments were a blur. When he came around he was standing over the body of a dead Ronnin, the rest fleeing yelling something about the light of god. Most of his brothers had fallen in the raid. The few that did survive struggled to rebuild there home. Upon inspection of the dead bandits a strange sigil with two crossing dagger on a crimson backdrop was found on the corpse of the leader. Full of anger and curiosity, Mikenno felt compelled to investigate on his own. He left he monastery a week later for Kadan. He now travels the land in search of those whom attacked his home.
  • Likes: He loves beautiful women and bean buns.
  • Dislikes: He dislikes fighting and people who knowingly harm others.

|| I'm way good at this ||
  • Weaponry: As a monk Mikenno is trained in the martial arts, but he also carries a few items. A few of which may not be classified as weapons. They are as follows. A Kanji Etched Katana, a Kami Charm, Japa Malan (prayer beads), Shakujo Staff, and several Ofuda Scrolls.
  • Abilities: Raito’s’ Yojimbo is an ability completely unique to Mikenno Okugi. Upon his death his chakra left his body as it should have, however, his soul was returned to it moments later. The boy was imbued with extreme spiritual power, that of which he still doesn’t fully understand. He has a highly accelerated healing rate, as well as speed. He is unable to use traditional jutsu due to his absents of chakra. He is, however, highly trained in the spiritual arts.
  • Known Techniques: None
