• Appearance: Insei is about five foot four inches tall and very pale due to the lack of sun in his village. His eyes are a very dark brown, almost black. His hair is jet black and always straight down past his ears due to the constant rain it is always very straight. He is fairly muscular because he spends much time training in offensive tai and nin jutsus. He is dressed in a black leather, sleeveless, tunic with a dark gray undershirt. He wears black baggy pants and black leather boots as well.

• Personality: To put it plainly Insei dislikes everyone except his sister Shinsei. He is not crazy, just mean spirited and cruel. While he does not purposely harm other, he does enjoy pulling mean spirited practical jokes and making fun of the other children his age. He is somewhat of a bully and often feels the need to prove how strong he is. He is also very protective of his sister, he thinks she is too nice for her own good. He does most of the talking for the pair and is very outspoken, often letting people know bluntly how he feels about something. He is a smart boy, but just doesn't show it very often.
  
• Background: Insei was the first born of the two Tsuriai twins, his sister Shinsei being the second. The two children were born on one for the only days remembered that there was a clear sky in the village of Arashi, their births marked by the first rainbow many of its citizens had ever seen. He had a fairly normal life, growing up in a village that hardly ever sees the sun. In school he was known as a trouble maker and bully, he did do well in class however. He did make it a point, however, to keep his and his sisters abilities a secret, for fear it would set them apart from everyone else. The only two people who have any clue of this secret trait is the lord Gufuukage and there mother. Their father was killed in the horrible battle against the giant sea monster that slew the previous Gufuukage, and their mother has taken care of them to the best of her abilities. Takeshi, the current Gufuukage, was very close friends with their father so he does help keep a watchful eye on the children. Often taking time from his busy schedule to help assist in their training.
  
• Likes: His family and Takeshi. He also enjoys writing, not that he would ever tell anyone.
  
• Dislikes: Stupid people, people who mess with his sister, and ramen.

• Weaponry: This young man carries no weapons, preferring unarmed combat to hiding behind a weapon.
  
• Abilities: Insei and his sister share the unique technique Kaihou no kon, or soul release. This ability manifests itself slightly differently in each of the siblings, in Inseis' case it releases the darker aspects of his soul. This transforms him into a being of pure negative energy, allowing him to drain the chakra of all those in his proximity, adding it to his own. This ability however, does drain his own energy relitivly quickly. Thus if no one is around him to steal energy from the change does not last that long. The only plus side to this comes when both his sister and himself make the change together. When in this transformed state his speed and strength dramatically increase to levels beyond most chunnin. Combined with the constant chakra drain this makes him a very powerful foe.
