Amaki looked at Yuni, who was pouting once again. Except this time she was pouting more cutely. He closed his eyes again. "No. You're annoying. So don't even try it. I'm not falling for that." Amaki said as his eye twitched from annoyance. He wasn't like those happy-go-lucky people who would fall over from Yuni's overwhelming cuteness. Amaki didn't care if she was cute or not, she was still a nuisance. When the girl spoke again, he tried to calm down to listen, but with her keep calling him 'Daku-Daku', Amaki couldn't stay calm. "I don't care if we've known each other since we were born! You can't call me that." Amaki said trying not to let Yuni's annoyance get to him. "I could care less if you think it sounds cute, you're not calling me that." He said as he opened his eyes after calming back down and tried to listen to what the others were talking about.

That calmness didn't last for long, for Yuni began to whine about him not telling her that he was going to the surface and that she wanted to come with him. Amaki faced Yuni. "I didn't tell you because it's none of your business and I knew if I did tell you, you would act like this." He said and then smiled. "Well, it doesn't matter if you know or not, you're not coming with me."

As expected, Amaki did not respond to her appearance as she anticipated. He was never the one to fall for Yuni's tricks, but the girl had been trying for years to get some sort of response that was out of his character. So far, her plans have failed, but there was always hope for the future. One day, Yuni was going to cause the boy to smile, be maybe be nice to her for once. There was something that was a little funny, though. No matter how much Amaki says he did not like Yuni, the two tend to run into each other a lot, whether it was intentionally (by Yuni) or by accident (possibly by Yuni, knowing how clumsy she is).

Now that her "cute charm" failed, she returned to the normal-looking Yuni, but with a frown on her face.

"B-But... If I knew I was going to the surface, I would have brought you along with me..." she said. Crossing her arms, Yuni turned around so her back was facing Amaki. "I don't even think you would be able to leave Suichuu that easily. Umikage-sama doesn't like it much when people leave the village, unless they're going out on missions."

The old Umikage waited a moment longer for any other questions to be voiced before continuing.
" Amaki," he said quickly, eager to continue,"you shall be joining team number two."
He quickly cleared his throat and went on, “The first phase of this plan comes as follows. Both teams shall head to the surface, to Tenpigakure. Once there Team one shall take what ever steps necessary to ascertain the location of the first item, the Gunsen of Matsuda. It is said that that this great shinobi was founder of that villages Oroshi clan, which would be a good place to start. Team two shall wait well outside the village walls and wait for a signal from team two. Once you, team one, abtain the location of this item you are not to engage, you shall signal team two and leave the village. It is very important that you remain in good standing with the people there, make friends with the locals in possible. Once team number one has left the village team two shall move by night to acquire the item, by force is necessary while team one waits quietly outside the village. Team two will no doubt be tracked, they shall hand off the item to team one and then lead any who pursue on a goose chase until such a time as they may be disposed of easily. While this is occurring team one shall return to the Suichuu with the item, team two returning at the earliest time with out being shadowed.”
He paused for a moment to catch his breath.
“This is the plan my brave shinobi. You must act with great care and co-ordination to succeed. If there are no further questions I shall take my leave and wish you the best of luck. May the gods watch over you.”
As he was preparing to take his leave Reizo spoke up.
“My lord Umikage,” he spoke in a very respectful tone, “What shall we do if by chance the associate the theft with our village?”
There was a long pause as the Umikage turned back to face his ninja.
“This is quiet a simple answer,” his face was grim, “We shall deny any knowledge of your pursuit and promptly execute the involved parties to save face.”. All was silent for a moment.
He spoke up once more, “Any other questions?”

Amaki calmed down again. He looked at Yuni, who was frowning. "Even if you were going to the surface, I wouldn't want to go with you!" Amaki said before Yuni turned her back to him. "Do you honestly think that I would leave with out permission from the Lord Umikage? Huh? Because if you did, you really are stupid." he said harshly. "I asked Lord Umikage last week if I could up to the surface alone to visit someone I know." Amaki said before hearing his name being called. He walked out of the tunnel and waited until Lord Umikage had finished speaking before he could speak up. "Um....Lord Umikage? I'm not trying to whine here, but do I really have to go on this mission. I was already supposed to be in Tenpigakure visiting someone, remember? I had asked if I could go alone last week." Amaki said. He hoped that the Umikage would remember and excuse him from the mission, but Amaki couldn't be sure.

At this point, Ude was sitting up and leaning forward a little bit to make it easier to hear the conversations that were being held with the Umikage. No doubt the young man was happy about finally getting a mission to Tenpigakure, but his position as spearhead in the operations made it difficult to be able to draw out his sister Kiki into battle without anyone else in the village knowing. It would have been much easier if he was in the second team, but there was nothing he could do about it now.
He continued to listen to the other shinobis' questions and was rather annoyed. The Kyouryoku guy was supposed to be smart, yet he couldn't figure out black-up plans? Then there was the Genin who looked like he knew Yuni pretty well. Amaki was it? Ude could understand he wanted to see his friend, but assuming the mission is successful/they make it out alive, that was something he could put off for another day.

I wonder how this mission will go with our half-crack pot team consisting of two polar-opposite Genin, an unsociable Chuunin, and two Jounin...

The Umikage listened to Amakis protest and shook his head. "Amaki,"he said as kindly as one would believe possible,"You are needed here. If afterwards you are able to return to Tenpi you may do so. With that I shall take my leave of you, my great shinobi. Remember that the fate of our village rests with you.
You shall leave at dawn, good luck."
As the great Umikage finished he turned away and with his bodyguard walked out of the arena leaving the small group of ninja alone with there thouhts.

Reizo stood silently for a moment as he eyed each of the individuals around him in turn, now that the Lord Umikage was no longer present he expected each of them to now speak there mind.
'I can hardly believe that I shall be burdened with having to work with these commoners. Who can tell what there skill levels are. He thought this to himself as his eyes fell on Ude,'It would appear as though this one has some degree of disipline, however, at least he kept silent.

Once the Umikage had left, Ude stood from where he had stationed himself during their leader's speech. He'd rather have switched places with Amaki, but with Yuni as part of the first group, it couldn't have been helped. Although the jounin felt like leaving, he wasn't quite sure about what to do afterwards. Plan for the attack? He could always do that as they leave. The lot of them had to prepare to go by tomorrow.
Just then he felt an observant gaze coming from his left. Ude swiveled the direction his body was facing and met Reizo's eyes. Cold, defiant amber eyes, the same as his. The brunette stared at the other shinobi for awhile but stopped himself and reasoned that the two of them could know each other better at a later time. At current, he would rather train or get something to eat. After all, he'd need to be ready to fight. His sister was a genius in her own right and definitely not going to be someone easy to take down if she continued to be a shinobi.

I hope we have enough firepower to use for this mission...

Reizo continued to stair coldly as Udes eyes met his own, 'They are the same as mine.' He found this to be a very interesting fact about the jounnin across from him. He would make no move to directly adress a member of the lower social class outside of a mission, well at least in public, but he was very interested about this particular mans abilities. Once Ude turned away Reizo turned his eyes to the rest of the group to analyze them.
He was more than a bit worried about this mission, and apparently he was not the only one. He lowered his left hand to the hilt of the ancient blade that hung at his side. The blade was vibrating, ever so slightly, in reaction to his thoughts, and also to those of the others.
'This may be interesting.'

After the Umikage had taken his leave, a giggle could be heard escaping from Yuni's lips. Although she had no clue what the kage had told the group about the mission, she was still exciting about finally leaving Suichuu. A childish smile was on her face as she spun around. Out of the four, this girl appeared to be the most lively. The other three males were all just silent after being given the mission.

"Oh yay! My first mission!" Yuni exclaimed as she faced the group. "This is so exciting! I finally get to go to the surface for the first time! And it's even better since Daku-Daku has the same mission! Heehee!"

The young kunoichi hopped up slightly this time, before reaching over to Amaki and tugging lightly on his arm.

"C'mon! C'mon! You have to come over my house to help me pack!" Even if the boy would refuse, Yuni would probably drag him over to her home anyway.

Amaki sighed from the Umikage's answer. I know I'm needed here, but you knew about me going Lord Umikage and you told me I could go. he thought. Amaki then looked over at Yuni, who was jumping up and down with excitement. She was calling him Daku-Daku again, but Amaki didn't care. He was too upset about not being able to leave to see Ran. "No, thanks, Noodle Girl. I don't feel like it. Amaki said pushing Yuni's hand from tugging his arm. He then disappeared in a puff of smoke heading for home.

Reizo watched with a slight bit of amusement as the young woman was denied by her aparent friend. He let out a small, almost inaudiable chuckle.
'I do hope this girl is reliable. I wonder if all her friends treat her that way.'
He turned to face the attendant to his left. The woman was about half a foot shorter than him and dressed in similar fasion to all his families attendance.
"Go to the estate and prepare for my departure, be swift. I shall return shortly.'
The woman quickly, as well as deeply, bowed to her master before rushing off to fulfill her assignment.
Turning to the other attendant he spoke very softly.
"I need some information on my new team mates. Gather a few of the others and shadow them until we leave. Do not be seen, or else."
The second servant bowed and quickly ran towards the estate to gather the others, leaving his master alone in the arena.

It was then as the Gami jounin was about to leave that he noticed some peculiar behavior from one of his teammates-to-be. Reizo was speaking to his attendants rather secretively, and that rose suspicion in the red-clad shinobi. Ude was sure it wasn't something personal or a comment regarding the team. The body gestures the Kyouryoku shinobi were displaying proved it. Although he wanted to continue to watch him, that would make himself seem suspicious. Regardless of what was spoken between the three, Ude had left, but was staying alert.

"But..." Before she could speak any further, Amaki's arm had disappeared from her hands. Yuni just stood still by the puff of smoke until it cleared completely, which did not take very long. Then she pouted, with her pale hands lightly balled into fists. Then she shouted as she waved her arms comically in the air.

"Daku-Daku you dummy-head! Even though I'm nice to you, you're always being a meanie!" She shouted pretty loudly, her voice echoing throughout the caverns once again. The way her tone was made it a little obvious that she was a bit upset. To those currently listening to her in the arena, her statement made it sound like she was trying to insult the boy, or embarrass him. Yuni could be embarrassing herself though. She does a good job with that without even knowing it.

Yuni's cheeks puffed up slightly, as they usually do when she gets angry. Without another word, she walked out through the Arena's main entrance.

Only Reizo and one other individual remained in the arena, and this man drew none of his interest.
His thoughts began to wander towards the comming mission, he had never been to Tenpi before.
He began to walk towards the exit, lost in thought.

Amaki had actually not left the area. He hid in the shadows of another tunnel. He listened to everything Yuni said after he "disappeared" in the puff of smoke. Amaki sighed. "First I was like her closest friend and now I'm a dummy-head and a big meanie." He said and then thought to himself. "Am I really the mean? I'm sure just making it sound worse than it really is, right?" With that, Amaki turned around and walked through the shadows in the tunnel to the Main Cavern. He hoped he wouldn't run into Yuni. Amaki was still not in the mood to be playing around with her.
