This area is filled with grassy hills of various sizes. Many people come by here just to watch the sunrise or sunsets, which Tenpi is well known for.

"Ah! What a great way to start off the day!"

Sitting on top of one of the tallest hills in the area was a boy, appearing to be around the age of fifteen. His eyes were as golden as the sun itself, with her hair being the brown color of the dirt below the grass he sat on. This boy, Kansou, was somewhat short when compared to other men around his age, but he did not mind that much. A lot of people thought he was kind of cute that way, actually.

Kansou sat back after the famous sunrise had ended. He was always at this spot every morning and evening, watching the sunrise and sunset everyday with his teammates, his friends. He never got tired of coming to the Sunny Hills early in the morning just to watch the sunrise. Not many villages had this kind of view of the sun, which is what Tenpi is so famous for.

A boy, who appeared to be slightly older, yawned and sprawled himself out over the cool morning grass. The sunrises in Tenpi were beautiful, he and his teammates often found themselves gathering in the same spot every morning to watch them. (if the weather decided to cooperate, of course.)

The boy had a shock of shining silver hair; it reached the back of his neck, and was extremely choppy, feathering out into soft spikes in every direction. His eyes were a cool shade of blue, deep like a sapphire, yet still light like the sky. Two long red marks slid down his cheekbones from the bottoms of his eyes, ended on his chin, and each had two lines jutting off directly across each cheek to his ears.

"We should head back to the village soon." He spoke smoothly, breaking the calm silence between the three teens perched on the side of the hill.

The only girl, Himoto Yuuzora was her name, nodded and pulled herself up, brushing off any grass clinging to the bottom of her pants.

"I'll meet you two back by the Fountain. Ja ne~" with that the red-head hurried off at her own pace, shuffling her feet through the dry grasses as she went.

Ichijin waved her off and turned back to the remaning teammate. He scooted up to his side and slid the burnette's hand into his own.

"Baibai Himoto!" Kansou said, his voice in his usual happy tone. He also waved at her before she disappeared down the hill, and into the main area of the village.

Looking back at the horizon, he felt someone's hand slip into his, and he held it. He rested his head on his teammate's shoulder, the cool breeze of the morning blowing his brunette bangs over his eyes. He sighed happily.

"Ichi, don't you wish we can just stay here forever?" Kansou said. His voice was not as deep as Ichijin's, and it was not child-ish either. It was more of a mix between the both. He sighed again as he shut his eyes. It was always so nice up at the hills. He wished they did not have to leave to go on some stupid missions.

Ichijin smiled and turned his head, burying his nose and lips in the smaller boy's hair. He kissed the top of his head gently and smiled into his scalp.

"Yeah, that would be nice." He exhaled heavily and pecked kansou on the cheek before moving to get up. "C'mon, we best get to the fountain before Himoto gets pissed and comes after us again."

Ichijin stood up and placed his hand on his waist as he waited for Kansou to join him.

"Heheh... Yeah..." Kansou agreed as he nodded his head slightly. He pulled himself up and dusted himself off, his pants a little wet from the morning dew he sat on. He did not pay much mind to it though. It was hardly noticeable, and it would dry up by the time they meet Himoto at the fountain.

Well, let's get going! We don't want another repeat of what happened last time!" Although Himoto was nice most of the time, she sure was scary when she gets impatient. After a moment of just standing there, Kansou took Ichihin's hand and headed off to the village.

Long after her loss at the training grounds, Sayuri had arrived at the hills, where she stood at one side of the tallest ones. Even though this spot was known to have the greatest view of the sunrises and sunsets, it was still a pretty good place to relax at through the rest of the day. The red-head would often come here by herself, and sometimes with a friend or two, but she would really rather be by herself most of the time.

The small konoichi took a seat on a nice, soft patch of grass. The ground was cold due to the winter weather, but it was still comfortable to sit in. The girl plopped herself down as a cold breeze traveled across the field, chilling anything in its path.

The wind was soothing for Sayuri. Her cheek had swollen up from the blow delivered by Minazuki earlier, and the cold day lessened the pain slightly. There was also a deep wound in her right shoulder, from where she was stabbed. It had almost stopped bleeding by now, but it stained her new winter clothes. The konoichi had picked the wrong day to start wearing them. There was now a large tear in her sleeve from where the knife penetrated through it, and she was covered in dirt after digging underground.

Come to think of it, what were the two fighting about again? This made the konoichi think for a while, back to this morning when she had accidentally bumped into Minazuki. The red-head wanted to avoid a useless battle at first, but when the Katara child talked down on Sayuri's older brother, that was when her temper got to her. The small girl sighed, feeling a bit stupid over this whole thing, but no one ever insults her brother and got away with it. Her opponent had also insulted her two team mates, which only Sayuri was allowed to do, and no one else. Anyone that made fun of her friends would probably end up in a lot of pain coming from a tiny girl.

The red-head decided to lay down, but ended up wincing in pain as he shoulder shifted slightly. This was the problem with her and close combat; the girl was small enough to be lifted up fairly easily, which results in the opponent taking full advantage of their height and weight. Back in her academy days, the usually tossed around or pinned down during taijutsu practice. Now, if she were going up against a real enemy, she would have been easily pummeled if she ever got captured.

Now that she was flat on her back on the slanted ground, Sayuri had a clear view of the sky, and she had taken a certain side of the hill so the light from the sun was not blinding her. Though, why was everything red? Oh right, she still had her goggles on. The girl could not forget the look on the villagers' faces when she walked by them. Just imagine a girl wearing red-tinted goggles, with a bleeding arm and a swollen cheek, along with dirt covered clothes, just walking around nonchalantly down the streets.

Moving the goggles so that it was on top of her head, the young konoichi shifted to get more comfortable, being careful not to move her shoulder much. It was in pain. Her left hand, which was putting pressure on the wound of her right shoulder, was tinted red with her own dried blood. The bleeding should have stopped by now, leaving Sayuri with only the pain on her shoulder and left cheek to deal with.

As she lay there, staring up at the fluffy clouds, she could not help but think about the memories she had at this spot; both being sweet and painful right now. This was where her older brother and herself used to sit, enjoying a popsicle that they had split in half to share. After the disappearance of her beloved sibling, the younger Sayuri was left a alone at the hills, which a frozen treat to big for her to eat alone.

Sighing, Sayuri reached to her chest with her left hand, grabbing a hold of something that always hung around her neck. It was a white stone; a rare one. It would shine if one were to hold it up, and glimmer with sparkles in the light. This was something very precious to the red-head, and would probably die if it were to get lost. With her slightly tanned fingers on the leather strap that help the charm, she held it into the air, with her now soft blue eyes staring at it. A moment later, her eyes were shut, but she was not asleep. She was simply lost in thought.

((Arriving from the Academy))

"I love this place!" Exclaimed Minato as he arrived here.

He's still alive from that fall, haha loophole ^^. Anyways he also started to look for Sayuri again, maybe a bit more careful this time. Minato thought it would be better if he went up the hills, since it's high up and all. When he finally arrived, Minato thought he saw a person lying in the ground and squinted to make sure. The most important detail he spotted was red hair and red hair, to Minato, usually meant Sayuri. So he ran towards the figure and finally spotted Sayuri when he was close enough, but she wasn't moving! Minato also noted the dried blood on her shoulder and suddenly ran to her side, worried.

"Ah! Sayuri! Sayuri! Are you okay?!" Minato cried, shaking her pretty roughly, hoping she hadn't died or something.

Sayuri was still awake, but her mind was drifting off to the dream world. She could remember the image of Kaiyou perfectly; Light blond hair, crystal blue eyes, and light skin. He could almost be the spitting image of their father. With the exception of the blue eyes, Sayuri had the appearance of her mother, who had left the family when she was just a baby.

As she lay in the grass out in the cold weather, the red-head could envision the scene of a past memory. She would be running around, playing a game of tag with her older sibling. The sun was bright is always is in the spring, with flowers blooming in the trees. Himoto would come by once in a while and to hang out with Kaiyou. Sayuri was not too sure, but with the way those two were acting toward each other, they could easily be mistaken as a couple. She would not know now; Her brother is dead.

Sayuri's daydream was interrupted as she heard someone's light footsteps on the grass. She guessed that person to be Otikaru, who probably came looking for her to make sure she gets the wound on her shoulder treated soon. Before she could open her eyes to look up, she felt herself being shaken vigorously. Her eyes shot open at the pain on her shoulder as it was roughly being moved around. Sayuri wanted to cry out, but bit her lip instead.

"Ah! Hey! Stop it!" It was then that she realized that it was not Otikaru, but her other team mate; Minato. By the way he was speaking, it sounded like he thought the red-head was dead or something. She was still being shaken, and her shoulder started to bleed again.

"Ow! Minato! Stop! That hurts!" The boy failed to notice that she was awake. She was still being shaken. "Minato! MINATO!" Finally, smacked him upside the head to get his attention.

Minato kept shaking and shaking Sayuri until he got smacked in head.

"Ow....what hit me?" He groaned, "Wait I got hit that means, SAYURI'S ALIVE! WHOO HOO! You're alive Sayuri!"

Then Minato saw the wound on her shoulder bleed and panicked...again.

"Wah! Your shoulder is bleeding! Where'd I put my bandages and ointment?! Or maybe I should take you to the hospital!"

Alive? What on earth was Minato talking about? He was acting like she was just in a near-death situation or something. Oh wait, maybe she was...

Sayuri thought back to the battle she had with Minazuki a few couple of minutes ago. If Sayuri had not moved when she did, she could have been stabbed in the chest instead of the shoulder. Was her opponent truly trying to kill her over something stupid? Then again, Sayuri did bomb the sparring area, but what was she to do? Explosives is her specialty, and without them, the red-head might not be able to fight at all.

The right shoulder had started bleeding again, but not as much as before. Sayuri had been spending too much time thinking at the hills, and should probably be at the hospital getting the wound treated before it leaves a nasty scar. The small girl looked over Minato, who appeared to be in a panic as he searched himself for his belongings. Placing her left hand on her shoulder once again, the red-head sighed and spoke calmly this time.

"Whoa, Minato, calm down... It's nothing serious, I'm alright." That was when she listened to Minato's suggestion, which was something about taking her to the hospital. An inaudible sigh escaped her lips as she heard this. Her over-protective father was the head medic, and would probably freak out if he found his only child in a hospital room with a wound on her shoulder. She would rather go to the hospital than have her friend treat the would out here though, and she doubt a little ointment and some bandages would do the trick. Looking back at Minato, she stood up and faced the path back to the village.

"Alright, if you're still worried, we'll go to the hospital. I was just on my way there anyway. C'mon." With that, she began to make her way down the hill.

[[Enter from Training Grounds]]

As noon progressed to evening, the wind picked up and tugged at Shugo's orange scarf. He held onto the cap so as it would not blow away. The teen's eyes darted side-to-side in its search for the Kusabana girl and the shinobi who took off to look for her. On the hill facing his back was where the sun was beginning to set as well as where the two people he was looking for was. Before he approached, he could hear the raven-haired genin yelling rather loudly. When Shugo got closer, he saw the guy shaking Sayuri until her injury opened up and he got smacked hard enough. This person didn't have a lot of common sense did he?

I might as well tell them about Karu-kun inviting everyone to YYBBQ.

"Sayuri-hime, Minato-kun! Everyone is at YYBBQ, where are you going?" Shugo said as he waved to them.

As she began to make her way down the tallest hill, she stopped when she was about three quarters of the way down. The Kusabana girl could not help but notice that the color of the sky was getting warmer as the sun had begun to make its way to the horizon. Exactly how long was she laying around the hills? Had she fallen asleep? Actually, how long did that battle with Minazuki take? The red-head blinked before she could hear a voice calling out to them.

"Huh?" Sayuri turned around to see no one other than Shugo at the lower area of the hill, waving at her and Minato, if her team mate had not tripped and rolled down the hill yet. Even if he did not, there was still a high possibility of that happening, knowing how clumsy Minato is. Shaking her head at the thought, the konoichi turned her attention back to Shugo.

"Oh, thanks for telling us that, but I was just about on my way to the hospital." Where else would she be going? She would have been fine with just some medicine at home and some bandages, her shoulder was bleeding once again thanks to the empty-headed Minato. Well, at least it was not bleeding as much as before when she received the wound.

Oh right, she didn't patch it up yet...
Shugo walked over to where Sayuri was looking intently at the hole in her turtleneck where the damage was.
"I can understand that you don't want to go to the hospital, but you should have gotten your shoulder treated sooner. Here, show me your arm."
He gripped onto the sides of the hole and ripped the shirt so he had more access to it. Luckily he brought his equipment in a long-strap messenger bag so he had some soothing antibacterial gel and water for the wound.
"Bear with it if it starts to sting alright?"
The genin promptly poured some water over the area to wash away the dry blood and began to lick the injury. It was something a medic nin had taught him before he was assigned a team. When you didn't have the chakra to heal cut, torn, or broken flesh, you can lick at it to command the cells to divide faster. Normally you shouldn't do that because of the risk of infection, but that was what the antibacterial stuff was for. He worked quickly. Once Shugo covered the area, he splashed some more water over the wound. The steel-blue eyed teen then filled the injury with the gel, pulled off the orange scarf he had been wearing, and tightly wrapped it around Sayuri's shoulder so it would be a comfortable bandage.
"That should do it." He said with a triumphant smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

Before Sayuri could answer, Shugo already had her arm and had ripped open the section of the sleeve with the hole in it. She really could not protest against damaging her new clothing any further, since there was probably no way for her to fix it. Well, at least every shinobi appears to have five sets of the same exact clothing in their closet.

The red-head watched as he began to treat her wound, thinking that it would be just the same old thing she sees every other day when she watches her father work at the hospital. There would just be the wound being cleaned, treated with medicine, and finally wrapped in bandages. However, the Tsubasa's way of treating injuries was pretty different from that.

The small konoichi could not help but jump ever so slightly as Shugo's tongue suddenly made contact with her flesh. Was he licking the wound?! Feeling a bit uncomfortable, Sayuri placed her left hand on his shoulder, while the other one held his bicep. She was gently trying to push him, telling to go away, but soon, he was done. The wound was clean, and it had stopped bleeding once again. Now Shugo was holding some gel in a bottle.

Oh no, she knew what that stuff probably was. Medicines like that were always used on flesh wounds. It almost looked like the gel her father used on her when she cut her knee open as a child. She could not forget that great, stinging sensation. Now all Sayuri could do was watch Shugo about to use it. She braced herself for she will soon feel her shoulder burning as if it were in a bonfire, but surprisingly, she did not feel any pain at all. In fact, the gel felt soothing. In a few moments, a makeshift bandage was wrapped around her shoulder and the treatment was done. The red-head blinked as she looked down at the orange scarf, and then turned to Shugo.

"Uh... Thanks..." she said. She really could not say that what the Tsubasa did was strange, but at least now she did not have to go to the hospital and have her father worry.
