Reizo moved with all the swiftness of a rushing tide, no one would see him coming. The enemy had initially caught him off guard, not that he would admit that fact to anyone, and it greatly annoyed him.
He heard the familiar hum as he drew his families ancestral blade, the voices of generations past singing so that only he could hear.
With lightning swiftness he placed himself in front of the shinobi who had just dismissed the thick mist and swinging down sharply he slammed the but of his blade against the wrist of his enemies sword hand shoving it downwards.
Before the foe could react he slipped around behind the man, positioning his blade against the right side of his neck poised to strike.
Reizo realized that this could indeed be a clone or replacement, but he had already prepared for this fact before he made his move. A tactical genius like himself never moved without assurance of victory.

He though, as he smiled, of a quote he once read in a very famous book by a very renowned man.

"Their is no victory in the absence of excellence." he recited into his foes ear.

Everything changed so quickly for Yuni. At first, they were all happy to finally arrive at the village, and it suddenly turned into this? The girl had no idea why Hayaku wanted to attack the boy. Yuni thought the Tenpi shinobi only wanted to help.

The Suichuu genin stayed close to her sensei as she was unsure of what to do. She was a little panicky at first, especially when a short, redheaded girl come out of nowhere and had them surrounded by fire in an instant. However, as quick as it started, the fire was blown out like a candle by another boy’s attack. All Yuni could do was stand and watch as a battle began to unfold before her eyes.

----------

As she was about to leave, Sayuri had happened to catch a glimpse of the Suichuu team through the dancing embers. She had to take a second glance, for she saw that one of them was absent from the group. No matter how good her traps may have been, the kunoichi always planned for what might happen if her trap should fail. She had half expected for at least one of them to escape, and she prepared herself.

The girl readied herself as she looked around her surroundings. Some trees had started to catch on fire as a thick mist covered the area. After a short moment, she found what she was waiting for, which were projectiles coming from the enemy. Sayuri prepared to form a handseal when a gust of wind came across the area to blow away the smoke that had blinded them. Although this was a good thing for vision, Otikaru’s attack had also blown out her fire and interfered with the girl’s next move; not to mention that the enemy also had better vision now like they did.

The genin heard three quick clanks as she found Otikaru appearing in front of her with three needles falling to the ground by his feet. An instant after that, an older swordsman already had his blade at the neck of her friend.

Sayuri was a little upset now. Not only did Otikaru ruin her trap and gotten himself into a bit of trouble, but the guards at the nearby gate did not seem to be doing their job. Are they that busy or lazy to come over here?

The girl eyed the swordsman as she kept her guard up, especially since the other man had not come out yet. Her blue irises quickly scanned the forest beside her before turning her attention back to the man. She decided to hold off on any attacks unless it was necessary, and motioned Minato to do so also. Since everyone seemed to want to hold their current positions, this might be a good time to get a little information.

”Hey, you.” Sayuri said mainly to the swordsman. ”Judging by the headbands, all of you are from Suichuu, right? What are you trying to get by attacking someone right outside of the gates?”

Reizo was a bit shocked when the Tenpi genin spoke to him, asking the reason for their attack.
Could this all be a big misunderstanding? The Suichuu noble pondered this for a moment.
If not, it could be. He would have to take a brief risk, but hopefully if he miscalculated his team mates would be there to pick
up the slack.
"Us attack?"He said through his teeth in a confused tone.
"I was under the impression that it was we who were under attack."
With that he slightly lowered his blade, a bit of apprehension slowed his movements.
He wished to make this whole debacle appear to be nothing more than a miscommunication.
"Perhaps there has been an error on both our parts then." He lowered his blade completely away from the man in
front of him, still retaining his battle stance, as a show of trust. He waited for the Tenpi nins response.

"Our friend was attacked by a needle thrower." Karu said as he stood up allowing a tanto to appear in his hand. "My partner and I acted to keep him from harm, from any on-coming assault." He added as he turned to face the swordsman. "Unless the attacker was one of your people, I apologize for the misunderstanding, but if he was." The Genin said without finishing his statement, hoping the implied response was picked up on.

Minato locked eyes with the enemy, preparing to counter until Karu suddenly appeared and blocked the hit! He was glad one of his teammates were helping out, it was his duty as a ninja in Tenpigakure to protect his village. Minato knew that he isn't strong enough when he was by himself.

"Thanks Karu. Let's--whoa!" Started Minato as was grabbed by Karu and dragged away to somewhere else. Karu soon let him go and ran back to the fray. As soon as Minato stood up, a big explosion erupted from the field and he also ran back, intending to help out. As soon as he got there though, Karu had a blade at his neck and Sayuri motioned Minato to stop as well, but he kept his guard up. She asked her question and surprised the swordsman who had Karu at swordpoint. Karu then added his two cents.

"Dude!" Minato said, talking to the Reizo, "I was asked to check what was going on outside the gates. I asked you guys if there was anything wrong. Before the Kunoichi answered me I was attacked by needles! See the ones scattered at the floor or the one at my leg! That's proof." Minato picked up his leg slowly, as the numbing agent was still in effect and showed the Suichuu nins the needle that was still in his leg. Poor dude forgot to pull it off.

Hayaku quickly Vacated the area in less then an instant and was behind a tree about 30 feet away.
"I wonder if he can sway this situation, it s a good thing i wasn't wearing my headband that should help."
Hayuka thought to himself.
As his heart pounded he wondered why someone who formed hang signs as fast as an average genin had such fast reaction time and for that matter how did they see him coming at all?.
He shook away these thoughts and waited and listened.

Even though she was not looking directly at Minato at the moment, Sayuri could still picture the image of the needle in the boy’s leg. The kunoichi wished he could just pull it out already. It hurt to see sharp objects sticking out of him like that.

The girl watched as the older swordsman took his sword away from Otikaru’s neck, as if it were a sign of trust. However, her partner did just the opposite by pulling out a large knife… What the heck…?

After the man’s short explanation, Sayuri had to ponder for a short moment. Perhaps he was correct; maybe they did just mistake each other as the enemy. After all, even though the redhead had seen all of their headbands clearly, she had not seen one on the shinobi that had attacked Minato. Maybe the Suichuu team just happened to be walking by when another random shinobi came out of no where to attack Minato? Then again, this could all just be some sort of plan. Unless the shinobi was very unskilled, no ninja would attack alone with so many others present.

The genin straightened herself up from her fighting stance. She had to think of many possibilities to determine whether these people were a threat or not. Talking to them more might help with that.

”Karu, put that knife away.” Sayuri ordered before crossing her arms. She then looked at the Suichuu swordsman. If anything were to go wrong, she could still put that other plan of hers into action.

”Well, maybe it really was just a mistake.” As she spoke, she strolled closer to the group and stopped besides Otikaru. ”I just kind of assumed you were with that other guy since… Well, you probably just happened to be here at the wrong time.” She glanced at the two behind the swordsman; another man and a young girl that appeared to be in her age group. The girl with the odango buns had a very lost look on her face.

”Anyways, if the four of you want to enter the village, you need some kind of pass to do so.

Reizo studied everything going on around him, he had to be at his best if he was going to salvage this mess.
The young noble was slightly relieved when the red headed genin relaxed a bit and told her team mate to put his weapon away.
Then she spoke, and for a brief moment he had believed that everything was going as planned, but then the trap was laid.
He inwardly laughed at such a pathetic attempted to fool one such as himself, but he knew that not everyone could be as clever as him.
He replied a moment after she finished telling him that his group of four would need passes into the village.

"Very well," he said softly, backing away from the shinobi he had been standing behind.
"However, I am afraid you mis-counted. There are only three of us."

Difussed, and so simply. However, he did give her credit for trying.

After putting the Tanto back into it's concealed sheath Karu looked at the Nin. "You say three, I saw four." He shrugged. "Chances are he isn't with you, but forgive me for being suspicious yet, since nothing can be proven to out weigh the other side." He said crossing his arms.

"The guards at the gate will take care of you're check in."
He said as he started to walk away. "Enjoy your stay at Tenpi, I'm sure we'll see each other again." He added before he put his hands behind his head, strolling in the direction of the training grounds.

Reizo back away further as he sheathed his blade 'Too simple.' he thought to himself as he looked at his remaining two team mates.
With the warmest smile he could muster he nodded appreciatively and said in a warm tone.
"Thank you," He began to walk towards the gate, expecting the others to follow.
"Please be well, I look forward to our next meeting."

He smirked inwardly and thought,'Maybe next time you will provide more of a challenge."

[[OOC: I know it's kinda long, I'm sorry. T_T I suddenly had a writing impulse. ]]

What just happened? Right after Reizo’s sword appeared to almost make contact with the other boy’s neck, the battle was suddenly put on pause right after the short redhead said something. Apparently, the Suichuu jounin was speaking of how they were being attacked, but wasn’t Hayaku the one that attacked first? Where did he go anyway? Yuni would have said something to prove the Tenpi kunoichi was right, but this seemed like one of those situations where she should just keep her mouth shut. She did not want to get into any trouble after all.

The Hanoumi child did not know what exactly happened since she was not paying much attention to the conversation, but Reizo had sheathed his sword and was well on his way toward the gate. Yuni jogged over to follow; waving a cheerful good-bye to the dark-haired Tenpi nin Hayaku had attacked first. For some reason, she could not help but feel like she already had a strong attachment to the boy, and they have yet to speak a word to each other. Perhaps they will encounter each other again in the near future—and hopefully in better terms.

After catching up to Reizo, Yuni just had to look around a bit to see if Hayaku was hiding somewhere in the surrounding forest. Now where did he run off too?

----------

Sayuri only stood silently as the Suichuu team walked past her and through the village gates. It was only until they were completely gone when she turned around to face the path that led back into the village. She could not help but wish they did something to prove the team guilty, especially since she could not shake off that strange feeling that the foreign team was up to nothing good.

Otikaru had wandered off somewhere before the other group had entered the village, leaving just the two genin—Minato and Sayuri—standing alone at the outer walls of the Sun Village. The kunoichi raised her arms as if she were about to form a hand seal, but lowered them just as quick as she raised them. She said nothing as she wandered off in thought.

The girl could not help but think back to when she found Minato earlier, who was standing on a limp as he faced the shinobi as if he were ready to fight. Surely, if a group of shinobi saw a child getting attacked in front of their eyes, they would not just stand there and stare unless they actually wanted him to get hurt or something. Thinking of which, where had the attacker gone? After Otikaru’s useless attack, he had suddenly disappeared. However, there was almost no doubt that the attacker could still be lurker around nearby. It would be best if she and her partner get back into the village before anything else happens.

Shoving her hands into her pockets, Sayuri looked at Minato as she realized how long the silence between them had been. For a few, it may have been a tad bit awkward to be standing quietly with the girl while she had a very serious look on her face, but Minato should know by now that Sayuri is thinking when she gets that quiet. Heck, she has been known to not respond for a period of time while she is deep in thought—unless someone decides to shove her into a pond or something.

After turning to her teammate, a slight glint had caught her eye before realizing the boy had yet to pull that needle out of his leg. Sayuri was getting slight chills down her back just by looking at it. Even though she does not seem to mind getting injections during her doctor’s appointment, needles still gave the girl the creeps. She dared not to step a single foot in her father’s room in fear of stepping on one.

After shaking her head at Minato, she began to walk past him to head down the path, expecting him to follow.

”Let’s get going Minato, before something else happens to you out here.” Sayuri finally said. She could not help thinking it, but the boy sure did have bad luck. Not only was he clumsy, but her appeared to be an easy target for projectiles. The girl should know that, since she uses the energetic genin for target practice sometimes.

”Oh yeah, and pull that needle out already, will you? It pains me to see you like that. And besides, there could be something else in that needle that could hurt you… Actually…” Sayuri paused as she turned around, walking over to Minato afterward. She took his arm and places it across her shoulders for him to lean on. However, he would have to bend over a little since there was a bit of a height difference between them. The kunoichi could think of a better way to do this, but where was Otikaru when they needed muscle power?

”It’s a good idea to keep that leg as still as possible, but try not to trip over and crush me, okay?” she told Minato. After telling him that, Sayuri waited for him to get ready to go.

Reizo reached the gates and halted, waiting for his remaining team members to catch up. His mind was racing with possibilities, thoughts of what could have happened. Did he just place their whole mission at risk? He doubted it, but they would have to be on their guard much more now.
He turned to face the young gennin walking up behind him, his facial expressions telling her to hurry along.

((srry short, very busy this week))

Minato was surprised, Karu's letting them go already? But then he guessed, that they were only Genin and really can't do anything about it. The one who attacked him and the one who had Karu in swordpoint seemed really high leveled shinobi. Hell, Minato was probably lucky for not getting attacked by other needles because he grew up with all kinds of weapons and can differentiate between them. Still, they seem really suspicious, maybe they should tell the kage-sama. When Minato finished thinking since 'what done is done', he turned to Sayuri, and Karu already left. But he found that she was thinking as well, and Sayuri won't notice anything until you do something ridiculous like chucking some water at her or something.

Concerning Minato's leg however, he couldn't feel anything at all. The paralyzing drug also made him walk like he was limping, he believe he tripped a few times before coming back to the battle. When Sayuri finally talked he started to limp abit before Sayuri offered to help him. Happily Minato accepted and leaned on her for support.

"Not my fault, I can't feel my leg but isn't it better if a med nin checks it first?" Minato started, motioning her to go ahead,"Thanks Sayuri,"

"You guys, don't cause trouble you hear?!" Minato yelled back at the visiting ninja as they left.

Temporarily seizing the search for the only chuunin in their group, Yuni jogged over to Reizo, who was standing and waiting for her at the gates. By the time she reached the destination, the kunoichi could hear some yelling from behind them. It was only the male Sun ninja, telling them not to cause trouble as he and the small redhead made their way into the village. Yuni only smiled as the two genin walked past them, giving the boy another wave before she replied. She felt bad for the boy having a needle sticking out of his leg like that—he might be in some pain at the moment. What if he ended up limping for days?

”Don’t worry, we won’t!” she said in her usual cheerful tone. With that, the two genin were gone; leaving the Suichuu team alone at the gates. Once the Tenpi-nin disappeared into the distance, Yuni’s teal-blue eyes looked up at swordsman next to her.

”Ne! Ne!” she said as she tugged on Reizo’s sleeve lightly. ”Where did Hayaku go? He just disappeared! And what the heck was up with what just happened back there?”

Reizo looked immediatly down at the young gennin with a look that said 'shut up'.
He then looked her square in the eyes with this expression and said in a hushed, but firm tone.
"Keep it down. " He had too many things to worry about as it was without having to think about what may
happen if the Tenpi nin heard what she said.
"As for this Hayaku I have no clue of whom you speak."
The young noble hope that this was enough for the young woman to catch the hint.
His mind swam through an ocean of possibilities. They now had a higher probability of being watched while in the village, which made there mission much more difficult. Not to mention that they were now short one member with no way to easily get in touch with him.
All these thoughts and more ran through his head as he walked proudly, head held high, towards the gate guards.

Aproaching one of the he nodded, "Good day to you. We wish to gain entry to your great village as emissaries of the Lord Umikage." His voice was melodic and very official sounding, he had much practice, as he addressed the lower ranking, in both status and rank, man.
