Himoto could normally take the heat of a burn pretty well, but something about burning her lip infront of Aoiro made her wince in pain more than normally. A her eyes welled slightly with tears as he handed her a cool, wet napkin from his pack. Her face seemed to stay the same shade of red as she sat in emabarassment.

She pulled the napkin away for a moment "I'm sorry i've been such a klutz today. I'm normally...not this bad." the burn started to feel a tiny bit better, but it still hurt.

"th-thank you" she murmured through the wet cloth as the waiter reappeared with their food. Himoto decided to stay away from the piping hot cup of miso soup for now...

"Don't worry about it, clumsy days happen to everyone, right?" Aoiro replied as he took his seat again. I few people in the restaurant were staring after they had heard Himoto's loud voice and Aoiro jumping out of his seat as the woman was burned. The two seemed to have failed in noticing that.

It was then when the waiter came back again with their orders. A plate of yakitori was placed in front of the now happy blond. First, he decided to take a sip of that delicious-looking hot chocolate.

"So Himoto-chan, you were talking about the festival a few moments ago?" With that being asked, he picked up the cup of warm chocolate and raised it to his face. He blew the smoke away only for it to return after the breath was gone. Despite the drink still looking very hot, Aoiro was not very much effected by the heat. It seems that his tongue was not as sensitive as Himoto's.

"Yeah, I suppose."Himoto sighed to herself and placed the napkin on the table to the side. She picked up her chopsticks as the waiter placed her Dumplings down infront of her.

"Enjoy." The waiter smiled and walked away.

She took a bit of one of her dumplings and whiped her mouth off with a fresh napkin as Aoiro asked his question. "Oh! yeah, I ment to ask if you were here forthe festival. And umm, If you're free tonight, maybe wanna hang out around the festival grounds?" She smiled, hoping he'd agree to her plans.

"Ehh, she ditched us, nothing to it." Ichijin sighed to his partner. The silver haired teen was wearing a slightly longer coat, a blue scarf, and a pair of dark earmuffs out in the freezing cold weather. He'd promised Kansou he would bundle up to prevent himself from getting another nasty cold this winter. (like he gets every year...)

The two male teammates of Himoto were quite tired of sitting out in the cold hills for her. Kansou had mused the idea of getting something to eat and finding Momo-chan later cause he was freezing, or something. Ichijin had agreed and both decided on getting something at the BBQ.

"Tonight, huh? Hmm... Well, I did have other plans..." Aoiro replied, and for a moment, it would sound like he would have to turn Himoto down. He looked at the woman and smiled. "But I think I could hold that off just for one night. It might give me a chance to explore the village more, after all."

Two more costumers had entered the restaurant just then. One was a silver-haired man, and other other was a smaller brunette. As they waited to be seated at one of the booths, Kansou spoke.

"You know, it's not like her to not show up like that." he said. "I wonder if anything happened to Momo-chan..."

As his golden eyes roamed around the room, he spotted purple hair, and instantly knew that it belonged to Himoto. There was a blond sitting with her, but who was he? Kansou never recalled seeing him before. A thought sparked into the brunette's mind.

"Ichi! Ichi! Ichi! I know why Momo-chan ditched us now!" As he spoke excitedly, he had his hands on Ichijin's right shoulder and was shaking him. Now, speaking in a quieter voice so only his partner could her him, Kansou stood on his toes as he pointed to Himoto's table. "She's on a date!"

Himoto looked almost dissappointed at first, but then Aoiro had smiled and accepted the invtation to the festival. She was so happy. "I'm glad you can come." She smiled, blushing slightly.

The two continued to eat their meal, chatting about random things and such.

"Oh so is she now..." Ichijin stedied himself as he was almost pulled down by the brunette. He pushed Kansou down, and back behind a slight outcropping of the wall near the entrance. The two decided to spy on their female teammate, but it didn't last very long..

"May I help you?" A confused, and somewhatly amused waiter came to seat the two spying ninjas.

"Oh..." Ichijin laughed embarrassedly, "Uhh, seating for two please." he said. The two tried walking behind the waiter without being noticed by Himoto. Last thing they wanted right now was Momo thinking they came to spy on her....even though they technically were...

Karu walked into the resturaunt and asked for a table seating at least four. "More should be coming soon." He asked when the waitress looked at him a little odd, before she showed him to an empty table. "Thank you." he said giving her a kind smile before he took a seat.

The sun was still in the air, but of course it was not morning no longer. It had become evening Minazuki thought to herself ' Evening already? Wow.' She walked on in the village and passed the main village's square. She saw some of the bento boxes on the floor and the little kids who were eating out of it. The children had no parents, and Minazuki would often see them and feed them as best she could. It saddened her to see children with no parents, or anyone who cared for them. "At least it wasn't wasted...I still can't believe I fought Sayuri because of my food, then forgot all about it." She walked passed the children eating the food she had waited hours for.

She finally arrived at the Yum Yum BBQ restaurant. She walked in as her boss immediately started yelling at her. "Katara, Minazuki! Where have you been!? We've been busy and you decide to just take free days off!?" Minazuki didn't feel like hearing this, so she lifted her dress up a bit showing him her forehead protector, but it was more like a knee protector. "Oooh...so you're quitting to become a fine Shinobi? Understood, sheesh, I am losing ALL of my employees this way." He walked away.

Minazuki sighed and looked around and finally saw Karu being seated. "Karu, please ignore him...he's just my old boss." She went over to him and sat down looking at him. "I hope Shugo comes...I don't want to be alone with you. It's not that I don't trust you, but yeah..."

"No offense taken." He said smiling. "To be honest, there's time I don't think I want to be alone anywhere with myself." He said before he scratched his head a little. "That sounded odd..." He said a moment or two later. "But none the less, I also hope if it's not trust, that it's not an akward feeling about being around me because you just fought my partner, and oldest friend, and that I'm acting like it was no big deal." He said leaning back in his chair a little, casually looking at the girl. "All in all, what ever it is, let's hope it doesn't effect lunch." He said smiling at her. "Since you worked here, what would you recommend." He asked as he picked up a menu looking at it.

"Wonderful! And uhhh...yeah that did sound kind of weird to say." She said laughing at him a bit. "No, it's not that. Ive never felt intimidated by you. I never knew that you were the number one shinobi from the academy, I heard many things about you, but never saw you before. I've heard that you were an excellent shinobi and I thought of you as my rival in being the best on the spot. I hope it doesn't sounds strange for me, a Katara clan member saying that..." Picking up the menu Minazuki was not thinking that she had already known what was on it. "OH! Right, well depends what you like...meat? Then I'd recommend the BBQ ribs with fries and corn as a vegi. Really good! I can eat at least 5 orders of it! Oh, or you could order the BBQ twin steaks with extra sauce on them and with a side of vegi your choice and whatever else you want to come along with it. If you want something without meat you kinda came to the wrong place...haah, we do have the BBQ salad with BBQ chicken mixed with lettuce and tomatoes along with more meat...heh. It's basically a meaty place here."

"I'd hope you're not intimidated by me." He said chuckling a little. "I spent years making myself look like a decent push over to avoid that from happening." He said putting his menu down. "Which I'm sure you noticed the random change in expression and attitude I had in the instant you and Sayuri stopped fighting." He looked at her. "I started training before I was entered into the academy, so I never wanted to make people feel inferior or intimidated when it came to being paired with me, so I'd always slack off in class, ditch it once or twice a week, and that sort of thing." He said with a smile. "Then when the last year came, I just went out, and was forced to try so I could try so I could graduate." He said looking over as a waitress came over to see if they were ready to order. "I suppose there's no reason to wait for them. I'm sure they'd be here if they wanted to come, unless you want to give them a bit more time." He said looking at Minazuki.

"Oh, so you slack off in class and ditched class so people wouldn't feel inferior or intimidated when it came to being paired with you? You're very interesting, if I were you, I'd want to have everyone fear me and treat me like I am special....which I already am, but I am not as nearly as special as my older brother...." She stopped there and was trying to get off of the subject. Talking about her brother made her miss him even more, being away from him and not being able to see him was painful for her. "Uhhh...no, we can order they are late anyways so forget about those two." Minazuki's attitude had changed she was more cheerful as of right now. The waitress came over and said hi to the both of them, she had already knew Minazuki. "Ummm...I'd like my usual please, Kami! what would you like Karu?"

Meanwhile, somewhere across the restaurant, Kansou and Ichijin were just about to be seated. The brunette was frightened for a second when the waiter had begun to make his way toward Himoto's table. Luckily, he turned so the group was walking just behind her without being noticed. Kansou could not help but notice the blond glancing at he and his partner as they walked by.

The two were seated seconds later, and the waiter left the pair with menus as he left to go get their beverages. The brunette had his nose in the menu, but as his golden eyes over it, he had a someone clear view of Himoto's table. They were near the corner of the room where the woman would not see them. Leaning over the table, Kansou spoke to Ichijin with the menu beside his face.

"Hey Ichi, do you know that guy? I don't know why, but he looks a little familiar..."

Ran entered the restaurant and looked around for Otikaru and Minazuki. She had just spotted them when a waitress came up to her. Ran pointed to where the other two genin were and the waitress took her over to them. They were just about to order when she reached the table.

"I'm so sorry I'm late. I was cleaning up my bento." Ran said before sitting down.

She picked up a menu and looked at it. Ran wasn't really sure of what to get. The BBQ salad sounded good to her though, but she wanted a second opinion first.

"Um.....Minazuki-san, you used to work here, right? I was wondering, is the BBQ salad good?" Ran asked politely.
"Also, Shugo said that he would catch up with us later. I think he went to go see if Sayuri is ok."

Ichijin peered over the menu his partner held up to partially cover his face, he focused and glared at him for a moment, then looked back at Kansou, "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that looks like Kaiyou." But this statement was most likely not true, as for everyone in the village knew Kaiyou had disappeared years ago on one of his first Chuunin missions.

"Ehh, I dunno. He's probably just a stranger here for the festival." He still kept the idea of the blonde being Kaiyou in the back of his mind for the time being.

Just then the waiter appeared with his notepad and pencil, ready to take orders. "How can I help you two gentlemen today?" Ichijin allowed Kansou to order first.

"It's no problem at all Ran." He said greeting her with a smile as he placed his order of the BBQ Ribs before he looked over at Minazuki, "That I believe is the only difference between you and me. You know you're power, and how far it's limits go for your age, as do I, but where we switch paths is that the only person I feel the need to know that is myself, while you want it to be known wholly to everyone around you, with the hopes you'll either be feared for it, or given special treatment because of it." He said leaning back casually. "Am I close?"
